Why does Artosis still think Maru won those three GSLs in 2018 with proxies every game. It was literally only the 3rd season. The first one even had people complaining about raven lategames being op while Maru was the only terran in the ro8

SInce the probe bbq Maru had more or the same worker count. That's not a good news for Protoss no matter hwo you put it. He was all the time ahead in supply. Maru is the better player mechanically.
Also he said that yeah, this is the first time they meet. so he will just beat him
Maru keeps playing as though Hurricane is gonna cut corners and Hurricane just isn't doing that. Hurricane is playing very well and anti- what Maru Expects him to do.

Doesn't matter. If it gets to a normal macro game Maru will just walk over Hurricane every time.

He still dead tho.
Well there is a difference in skill level after all.
Casting felt really off this game. After that initial attack by Maru, his third was started earlier, his upgrades were ahead, he was equal and then ahead in workers, ahead in army supply. But it sounded like they thought Hurricane was in quite a lead.
Maru lost all Helions doing pretty much nothing, took a bad fight against Colossi army, first mine drop also aint doing anything . After all that, he still SMASHED Hurricane in game 3.

The Soup rarely lies. Maru had a lot more that entire game.

15 minute game and INno hadn't even started 2/2. He didn't even have an armory.
I mean Trap was on +1/+1 and +2 attack in the end there, he had a shot at closing it out for sure. he just died to storms and not defending his third for some reason
INno wasn’t really ahead, he was allin for quite some time and could not properly hold his 3rd base vs triangle strat drops between main and 3rd. Almost worked especially with the catch on stalkers but probably took too much damage

To be fair, he's not alone in that regard. Rogue is playing super sloppy, which should still be enough to beat Dream, but may not be good enough vs Maru or Trap. Similarly Trap needs to play a bit cleaner to beat both Maru and Rogue.
Maru is Maru, as usual. Apparently he practiced with Trap for the Ro8 and will help Rogue practice for Ro4, so he should have good insight on making builds vs both of those two.

Let's go
With Stats, TY, etc. soon gone it should just be a matter of time before Maru grabs a fifth one!
Maru winning G5L is pretty close to inevitable. He's the youngest player in Code S. He's not going to get drafted to the military before the ESL deal ends and his team has made sure he gets his wrists looked at.

It's beyond inevitable. It's actually absurd how close he's been and not grabbed it yet.
On top the four trophies he already has, he also has: - A Super Tournament (which in previous years would have counted) - A close second place to TY - Now six ro4s (three of which would have had soO in the finals), - He even has an OSL trophy that literally ran instead of GSL that season because OGN had the broadcasting rights.

He also has an SSL trophy in a season that was almost identical to a GSL.

Pretty sad the two Terran GOAT contenders Maru and INno did not win BlizzCon (yet? In the case of Maru)

And here I was thinking Blizzcon tourneys were cancelled and we have now only Katowice. So, what's the current state? because under my assumption I don't see anyone winning the Blizzcon.

Winning Katowice now would count the same as long as it’s the BlizzCon equivalent.

It always was, but for w/e reason Blizzcon was way more for so many people. In my eyes Katowice were open so bigger than Blizzcon.
Look at your post, BLIZZCON. All it had to take was a world champion title(which was awarded at both)

Well the problem with Katowice compared to BlizzCon was that the former happened after the post-BlizzCon big balance patches, which wasn't as stable as the patches of BlizzCon. It kind of opened the year while BlizzCon concluded it.
