I think it would be interesting to see the data on this, especially with some kind of performance / aligulac ranking weighted adjustments (and large datasets). I suppose the online data would drown out the relatively small number of offline tournaments but perhaps if non-cross server online data points + offline were compared vs. the rest. There's also many potential confounders; such as tournament structure (GSL style vs. weekender, round robin vs. BoX single vs. double elimination etc.); relative player performance in the booth/on stage vs. at home; and relative latency for each player given their location to the server, internet speed etc. My assumptions in thinking about this would be: 1) That micro potential / latency dependent mechanical requirements etc. are not equal between races 2) That latency does matter 3) That the relative effect of a more or less equivalent ping increase for two players on different servers, is not the same in every match-up based on 1) I'm sure player skill + performance on any given day >> than any of this but I for one would be curious to see if this could potentially make a difference as a purely academic / statistical exercise. | ||

The downside of that is that going robo before twilight reaaally delays getting your stalkers back on the map. That's not bad per se, but Parting probably doesn't like that idea  | ||

I had tried it before and it was a lot of stupid jokes, but the casting of the IEM series is great so far I like the "new" OG stream a lot more, France french become proportionally more unbearable to me as their excitement ramp up, the Pomf et Thud days were to much for me. But I do like their casting a lot, it's feel a lot more center upon the game, more grounded and less about the story lines. I do think the ESL broadcast is very good, but sometime I want something more laid back. | ||

He would of course say he is joking but I just can't watch caster who are used to disrespect players. Especially considering he is barely articulate in his own mother tongue. | ||
