Serral's ZvP record(and his h2h vs Zest) says otherwise; even Clem has the upper hand on Zest, historically, but I'd agree to see Zest as favored against him.
I agree we haven't seen Serral's vP since the loss vs Trap and he's bound to have worked on the mu. Does Clem have a positive h2h vs Zest ? That surprises me. But if he qualifies, I really don't see any other result than a 3-0 for Zest, too much experience and muscles for Clem to handle atm (and the pressure of having won vs Serral in the previous round, I don't think he'd be able to deal with that ; we saw something similar in the group stage where he kinda crumbled under pressure and exhaustion after the fantastic start)
Trap's PvZ was by far the best in the world when he defeated Serral, even if Serral didn't work on it I'd see him favored over Zest. Clem is 17-12 in maps against Zest and won their last three encounters.
thanks for the Clem stat, didn't know that. So we should get an interesting match whoever advances, I'm glad if I was wrong

The Highest Skill Level hypothesis proposes that past StarCraft was terrible and all modern play is superior. One could extrapolate from this that the GOAT is the most recent and therefore highest skilled player to have won a StarCraft series. I therefore propose that, at least until the end of this series, Parting is the GOAT.

wtf?
He's white
Don't be ridicolous. Serral's accomplishments as for 2021 are pretty relevant, it's not a joke claim anymore as it was three years ago; notice that I am not saying he is the GOAT.
Serral having solid accomplishments doesn't mean that "Serral is the GOAT" is no longer a joke claim.
Serral's accomplishments are not simply solid, they are outstanding. By the way, this is not the place to indulge in this discussion.

I think that Zest is indeed favored but I would be surprised if we got a stomp.

yeah, we saw that in PartinG vs INno as well. Wait...

Haha so satisfying seeing a dirty Zerg screw himself over with those stupid counter backstabs. If he had the banes at home he would have easily defended

Agreed they are outstanding. That's why he is for sure in the top 10 goat. But nowhere near top3 yet.
