Words from our admin team, led by Sinistro. Players are limited to two pauses per map. A pause can last no longer than five minutes. The reason for the pause has to be communicated to the referee in-game (combined in total 10mins). Admins have the power to issue pauses on their own at their own discretion. Players are not allowed to leave their PCs during the pauses (we can check this). | ||

So there doesn't seem to be any particular reason needed to ask for a pause? I would guess it would come under the general discretionary power of the admins, but as far as this is in concern I don't see any reason you couldn't pause after let's say realizing you are getting proxy-void ray to review your notes and what not. | ||
