Are they? The only matchup that was someway even was Heromarine against Armani and Big Gabe won.
You'd really expect top 20 Europeans to do better against the three best Koreans. So yeah they're absolutely rock bottom.
Especially since recently some people claiomed Koreans hit the rock bottom and that another tourney where Koreans can reclaim their fallen prestige or something like that. So if the Koreans are that bad, foreigners should win.

sOs back in his prime wasn't hated, was he?
Rogue as Protoss would be something like PartinG or MC but without the huge personality, not an sOs imo.
Don't know, to me Parting or MC were pretty expectable/readable, but Rogue is more a mystery, but maybe I'm just fanboying.
Rogue really isn't mysterious. Proleague Rogue I'll give you, but individual tournament champion Rogue? Nah.
I think it's the complete opposite. Proleague Rogue was expected to clown and produce snipe builds. This version: 1. No one knows which Rogue will show up to any given tournament or even match/day 2. It's extremely hard to prepare for him, especially in ZvP because he can do a 100 builds some of which no one understands but he makes them work 3. He is a lot better mechanically now then in the old days so he can play macro games against the best players as well as clown strats
I think this kind of inconsistency and unpredictability can sure be considered mysterious

Chill out rock bottom is quite an amusing meme. Justified as well for stupidly claiming Koreans hit rock bottom after 1 bad tournament (and even that had a Korean in the final lol)
Neeb vs Showtime has like no meaning at all for Katowice or anything so I'm just gonna consider it a deathmatch for who gets to call themselves best foreign Protoss for the next few weeks.

Occasionally playing terribly and bombing out in the first round right after winning a tournament isn't all that mysterious.

I for one thought the mysterious aspect was meant to be a positive.

Doing random clown builds while being perfectly able to do a very good macro game makes him a hard to read opponent. Especially considering he doesn't do exactly known builds, just styling it through.

Maybe to you. To me being so darn good and so freaking bad in this game too is a great mystery

I really didn't mean his inconsistency in the form, while that's a big mystery as well, but mostly his ability to go - fuck it, random nydus, queens, roaches/lings and seee yaaa on the victory screen!
I also will say Harstem (a TL player) not realizing his match in TSL (a TL tournament) was today and getting drunk at his dad's party sure sounds like something TL writers made up.

You still haven't realized that the one starting than topic was none other than Morbidius, a guy who pukes whenever he sees the word "Serral"; amusing, to say the least.
I guess Ziggurat was being sarcastic, Dave instead is just as a fanboy as you are.

In general Rogue is quite good at mixing up builds, and has a really good killer instinct, but "post-tournament" Rogue doesn't usually lose because he's clowning and doing weird stuff--he loses because he plays poorly.

Agree, but that's not what I meant I meant the build mixing being his mysterious part.

We can blame whoever we wish. I personally blame Canada since 1999

Canada? That's where TLO lives now. Sure seems like a strange coincidence.
