Clem is pretty insane v toss. Even beat multiple top Korean tosses at Stay at homestory cup #2 a few months ago. Barely every loses against eu tosses apart from showtime as well. I would only say his tvt is vulnerable as he gets butchered by pretty much every Korean terran, loses against Gabe most of the time while barely managing a 50-50 winrate against uThermal

Clem lost to Showtime multiple times while Showtime didn't look great against Heromarine afterwards. Also looking back 5 cups he also lost to Neeb and Harstem (who also lost to Heromarine). But yeah, he's solid to say the least, he also beat a lot of good Protosses. As for the next NA series, I think MCanning should be the favorite considering Scarlett seems to play mostly Broodwar lately.

Despite Neeb being in a slump somewhat, I'd say he's still a much more formidable opponent than MCanning. If Scarlett can beat Neeb, she definitely can beat MCanning. As a fan of both the can and Scarlett I'd enjoy either result though.

There is only so much you can come up with, and Gerald probably showed up prepared.

The only interesting question here is whether he will turn up and do well in the season final

Scarlett got one over him in the group stage but will most likely get battered in a longer series if/when they meet later in the tournament. If he doesn't win it all, it would be a massive surprise imo. The only interesting question here is whether he will turn up and do well in the season final Eh think you overestimate him a bit. Hes the fav for sure, but Future looked good against him in the last esl cup while pretty much every match he played v astrea last season was extremely close as well. He also isnt that sold aganst a Scarlett-Silky which he was in his prime. Its nice his ladder mmr is high, but hes been 6.9ish for a while now, and that doesnt really translate to tournament results that often. We'll see though, last season his form was worse and he still won it, so guess he will be fine this time as well in the NA region.
