Void ray have been making for fun games in PvZ because you can lose loads of workers on the ground to lings and roaches and end up with the superior air army to try for some counterdamage after the voids clean up. The asymmetry in eco vs army makes for unexpected results. Of course I'm sure one of those killjoys like Serral or Rogue will come up with a safe, standard, mostly risk-free response to them.

I love it, how this thread has been about half a page for the MaxPax series and then half a page for the rest of the day, every day

Btw, MaxPax got all the PvZ matches done in his group and doesn t have to play his weakest matchup anymore. Despite his current place in the Group he is still in the running for playoffs and his chances aren t to bad either

Game 1 Elazer vs Marinelord was absoultely crazy and down to the wire in the end! Never mind the rest of the series.

I mean, the way game 1 played out was doomed. In fact, i suspect Marinelord wins game 1 if he literally lifts one of his buildings and puts it on move command behind his BCs.

I mean look at his playstyle, it's perfect for ladder but not that great for tournaments, also in his better esl open runs he beat mostly protosses (also showtime) by cannon rush and void ray shenanigans.
Edit: It's always kinda fun to see players that like to play this weird stuff getting out weirded by another player of the same race tho
