Less interesting IMO. Dark always uses the threat of a team kill to force picks. He doesn't have that threat this time.

That's why I wanted him to have the pick swap. The only time he doesn't play in Groups of Death is when he has the pick swap. As long as Dark has it I knew this was gonna happen.

Maru actually had the easiest group possible for so many times when he was able to swap players. I would love to see him against good players now, his run in the super tournament was absolutely delightful !
I kinda expect to Maru have the toughest group here, with Dark swapping Ragna for someone like Zest and Maru ending up with Inno, Zest and Stats :D The worst players possible for him personally.

Yeah no I literally ran through all GSL and SSL results of LotV a year or so ago and TY's groups always had the players who would go the furthest. I can send you a picture or the excel sheet later That was right around the time Maru began his 4 championships streak

It's great to see you enjoy group selections.
Just two things: Special's TvZ is relatively bad, he definitely would not thrive in non korean tournaments, the "not harder" path would be hard indeed.
Also, Dark had a nice streak against foreigners but in the latest years he looked comparatively stronger against koreans.
