TY's mech is kind of more conventional in that it's not as aggressive early on imo though. TY has used the defensive mech style against parting, hero, and dear. sometimes incorporating banshees but ultimately relying on a huge max push. | ||

The point of TY's mech builds is to not die to chargelot/archon busts when you're on 3 bases. Also it's safe to say TY vs Stats wouldn't look anything like TY vs Dear today. TY said Stats was one of his main practice partners for today (and really he's been one of his main Protoss practice partners for years), any match between them is bound to be mind game heavy. My memory of TY vs Stats matches of the past few years doesn't ring up any normal games but a lot of crappy games that ended in 8-ish minutes. | ||
