For long term SC2 fans sure.
For anyone who isn’t familiar it’s just two dudes playing a game, so casters having to drop the Serral being world champion/TIME being the hope of the Chinese scene is kinda necessary context, even if it can be a bit grating to those who are aware already
Yeah, this was the point I had in my head. My wording was awful though, so apologies about that. It's hard to formulate thoughts properly while extremely hyped following an amazing series :D

Maybe would have been a good idea to send a few hellions to the nat while you push the 3rd with that blue flame opener. Getting triggered by Queen defense, ah those 2012 flashbacks. Good series wish TIME would have won.

My favorite casters are ones who actually play the game at the highest levels. Lambo is fantastic for the job. I don't like his co-caster, though.

Choosing mech for the last two games was the worst idea for Time. His only winning key is the aggressive playstyle and the insane bio mirco.
|
How were the PvP series? Without even watching I bet Zest vs Dear was pretty exciting (I actually don't think PvP is that bad)

Ever since last year, TIME looks to be one of the most relentless attacker in the game, but when he gets knocked off rhythm, things tend to go awry quickly. That game where he defended against Serral's broodlord timing and win was nice though.

Imo Lambo is better than any other caster. You can really tell when a top player is commentating and not just an average guy on ladder
|
i wonder why Time decided to mech in the last 2 games after he was up 2-1 playing bio

That was a really impressive series from TIME. Grant could lay off the random hype though because it highlights the gaps in his knowledge.

Time getting better and better. Absolutely stellar play, I think Time is probably the best foreigner T at this point.

Most English casts for the last 2 years. To defend them they had some part time heroes in the former 7 years but nothing really lasting or close to Serral's level. And none of them ever embraced the Korean scene, which is not weird except for the GSL casters.

Not that there is much competition, lol.

The power of Zerg in a longer BoX I guess, you need a bunch of good well-executed plans and be aggressive with them, you can only have so many plans at the level required for a weekender so it gets super tough by the time you run into someone like Serral.
Good series though, TIME played way better than last they played and he seems to be on a pretty steady upward curve.
No pressure of course but if he continues in this manner the foreign scene will have another potential championship contender who also plays Terran and is also Chinese.
It’ll be great for interest in the scene if China have a player of that calibre, excited to see what he can show at GSL vs the World next.

Stats-herO was quite one-sided beatdown tho.

Do not worry, the community with its senseless disdain for Serral more than makes it up for the bias some casters have towards him

Game one was so close! Not saying Time is better, but now thinking about it TIME could have 3:0 Serral lol Glad Serral made it through anyway... He definitely has more chance to win this tourny than TIME.

I really like how they brought in the players to cast and discuss with the other casters for this tournament

Thanks. Yeah I think any PvP series with Zest in it will be a fun one
