If we get Nerchio vs Kas with the shitty integrared observer will Apollo come back from the dead?
|
Hey Amon is back to Year Zero
|
Don't know how that happened, but Nerchio scouted the 2nd stargate...
|
Wait, there's a Twitch overlay that's just an ad?

Someone has good anger management technique for Nerchio? Because I think he's gonna need some soon...
|
Okay, let's stay calm. I'm sure he'll bounce back.
|
Time to shine for Drogo now.
|
Zealots just going anywhere they like.
|
why are the casters so surprised Gunfubanda was on Top 8 Leaderboard none of the other 3 Players where able to do that

As someone who has essentially not paid attention to SC2 since Blizzcon, can someone explain why Tanks are viable in TvP these days?

Probably. Have you ever seen a Banshee come out at night? And they donate blood to the Red Cross.

Man, Kas crushing Drogo after that reddit thread yesterday is just the greatest :D.

Gungfubanda vs Kas winners match in 2019. The fuck?

I bet Ironchain did not expect this team kill in the losers match.

Neither did everyone I'd presume.

The maps for this season don't look as striking as last season's. Very pretty still, but kinda generic.

I guess it will be up for grabs again at Katowice.

I'm not a fan of the black/red color scheme in general, but I have some residual hate from the reveal that this was the final boss' world in the singleplayer. Taken in isolation, it's fine but nothing special. Barren black rock, weirdly shaped rock formations, glowing crystals, red energy effects. A lot of that could also describe Char for example. And Ashworld was my least favourite tileset in Brood War. Or it could describe Slayn, the Tal'darim's planet.
It's pretty enough, don't get me wrong. The mapmaker did a great job. But there were some really cool colour schemes in the last season, and before that we had Abyssal Reef, probably my favourite looking map. My stand outs for this season would be Automaton, Port Aleksander and New Repugnancy, I think.

Drogo's supply is almost all powerful high tech units.
And he's won.
|
Geez, Nerchio was surprisingly weak. I hope Serral didn't get worse like he did.
|
well fuck
|
|
So Pritdrogo gets destroyed by Kas, and then her proceeds to destroy Nerchio? His play was so sloppy and then he decides to turn it up. I just lost $160 thanks to him...
|
Well, that hurts.
EDIT: That too.
(This is great reading for anyone reading after the fact )
|
Why did gungfu switch attacks from one tech lab to the other? Kind of suspicious though I'm not sure whether it would have mattered

So that he could kill both at the same time. He put half his stalkers on one, half on the other.
|
Gungfu 1st place place with a 4-0 and Nerchio last with a 0-4.
What a time to be alive.

That "fact"ory joke from Feardragon hurt my soul about as much as storm hurt Nerchio

Shot the Assimilator .

Good thing ZombieGrub pointed out that Kas EMPed himself, my brain didn't even register what happened there .

Time dropping a map would be an upset

Wow, that Force Field was protecting the Tank from the Zealots trying to kill it.
|
Those Disruptors getting killed just before they detonate half the Terran army is thrilling stuff :D.

Nice dodge on that Disruptor shot.

I think the Tank killed more SCVs that the Adepts .
|
Surely that Probe pull is premature?
EDIT: Then again, since Future was so all-in, I suppose it's better not to take the risk.
|
These NA players are so bad to watch.
|
That game was really fun. I like players who are better at attacking than defending .
|

Why was that Supply Depot lowered in the first place?

Standard Terran worker pull, coming through .

Keen did it a couple of times in the GSL, so it's not entirely gone. Might be more of a Korean thing?
|
King's Cove is growing on me. I keep seeing more details to appreciate.
|
I think Time would've been better off keeping those late Tanks unsieged.
|
It feels odd to see the Marines retreat behind the Tanks when the Zealots charge, but I suppose they do have a lot more damage and less hit points, so they don't really have the same purpose as Vultures.

Wow, a Recall that worked.

Wait, can Disruptors not kill themselves?

So anticlimactic that the game is still going.

Now I admit I'm biased because I bet and lost money, but his play was very sloppy. If you compare the first series and the following series, it's like two different players playing.
