On Day 1, I hope Solar wins. Rogue winning would be cool too, although I'd kinda prefer it if Maru crushes the tournament and we get Serral vs Maru at Blizzcon, but that's both not very likely to happen. | ||

Thing is he is really good micro macro mid late game aswell.. only hoping he will not lose his skills in that regard. Edit: Maru just undestands this game on a different level. I guess he is doing this builds to keep the creep under control. In a normal game you cannot make creep pressure that good. Normally zerg is favored in TvZ and these 2 should be more or less evenly matched. Rogue makes no mistakes, Maru wins I would say easily. Rogue never made any pressure on Maru. | ||

It's sort of the natural extension of the MKP strategy: Play an opening strategy that requires you to lean HARD on your micro. For MKP it was either an opening cheese, or a SUPER greedy build that would lose for every other player except somehow MKP makes it work with like 2 marines to defend or some ridiculous shit. For Maru, it's proxies. From there, transition into a macro game if your opponent isn't dead because you're the better macro player anyways. | ||

Yes, he did proxy with 1 rax in game 1. Built a few reapers in it. He got 1 gas stolen though, because sOs expected it. | ||

He proxied, but did basically no damage. sOs counter-proxied and contained Keen but did basically no immediate damage. Then the game went on for a while, Keen attacked and sOs didn't have enough army- he tried to counter attack and went for a base trade but he lost on both fronts. | ||

He lost a lot of workers but that doesn't mean he couldn't warp in at all. Trap should not have left the game when he did since it was a fight for his Blizzcon life, but he probably would have lost. | ||
