It's not like I'm getting any money, nor will top Koreans like Maru starve if they don't win huge prizes. WESG and Pyeongchang are just a circus show. Personally, I'm glad that the balance patch will drop in time for the GSL to get serious with the Ro16, and for IEM Katowice, the big tournaments that actually count for something in terms of skill. | ||

On January 31, 2017 the Liberator was nerfed following the 3.8 balance issues in PvT. The next nerf (for WM) did not go live until March 7, after Katowice 2017 was finished. Judging by that schedule, I'd guess that we will know the contents of the next balance patch before Katowice 2018, but it will not yet be live. And who knows where the meta will be by then? The Stalker nerf will certainly help Terrans out, and I for one hope that it will be enough. | ||
