That I can agree with. I don't agree at all that he's had the best year of any player ever.
I am not saying this is a sure thing, but it should be up for consideration at least imo
You can consider it, but I don't agree with it at all. If you're a good player nowadays, you're almost guaranteed a Ro16 in GSL since the competition is so thin now. Plus we've had years when players won 3 Korean tournaments in one year and never dropped off in skill, while Stats definitely did mid 2017. Mvp's 2011 was better imo, Zest's 2014 was as well. Arguments to be made about Life and Taeja when they peaked. Also an argument to be made about Maru in 2014 or 15. The last three I'm not sure though, but they felt much better at the time.
Everybody was bad at the time so it's pointless, example : harder to win 2 Champions League in a row nowadays than 5 in 50s.
You have to be fair.
Complete nonsense, and it isn't relevant anyway. People are not better now than they were in 2014 for example.
Yes I'm sure INnoVation 2017 would have gone 1-4 against Cure 2014 because he is weaker than ever now
Even 2003 INnoVation would roflstomp Cure
In 2014 he won only because Mech was a complete BS.
Cure's skill was higher, but mech can compensate
shame that he didn't have the option to play mech himself
Cure is a real man. He don't fight paper with knife.
Yeah he did the exact opposite and then disappeared into irrelevancy once he was exposed as a relict of an era where you could win half of your TvT and TvP matches by randomly boosting medivacs to your opponents main and brainlessly spam 4M after brainless 3CC banshee in TvZ. Once the game changed and it required adaptation, forced positional play, Cure became irrelevant. Because that's what he was and always will be. One of the one-hit wonders that can't adapt. People that after years finally found their tune, but couldn't play any other music. The Cures, the MyuNgSiKs, the Lilbows. All of them are just pebbles, rocks for players like Zest or INnoVation to step onto. All of those 1 season characters eventually disappear like droplets in the rain. So don't bullshit me about "skil", "manliness" or "honor". Because even Mvp made INnoVation work harder with less things he had. Because even Mvp with half of the "skillful" EAPM Cure had, achieved more. Because Zest got abused by 5rax drop spam on Nimbus and then won a GSL a year later. While Cure was playing Overwatch.
Because class is permament and the Cures are temporary.

What a shame Cure got stomped in the only marine/tank vs marine/tank game of that series so he couldn't show his higher skill.
Lol you are 100% biased, sorry
Stupid facts getting in the way of your Cure hype, wow

sC is actually a god that has carried his team on multiple positions in HotS :D. He's really good.
