This tournament has barely had TvP's though (like a third of the number of the other non-mirrors). It's definitely noticeable if you look at more games. Among other things Protoss's PvT winrate on aligulac fell off a cliff.

I don't feel like the games I've seen lately have had Adepts be that obnoxious really.

Don't have to split shades in in multiple places, focus firing workers and canceling shades at the right moment while macroing at home. It's so easy, a monkey could do that.
No offence man, but it's really not that hard. Unless the warp prism is under fire you can keep just warping in every cycle and shade them between patches.
Litterally every protoss player right now can do it with no struggles, and once the adepts get in there they usually always win. That's an ez victory if I've ever seen one.

People wanted a strong gateway unit so not every game is turtle into T3. It got implemented and now we see action-packed multitasking-intensive games. But people are still whining because Protoss shouldn't be able to win games.

Zealot/Colossus?!? That sounds like a composition that gets hard countered by everything terran could possibly go for. When has anyone ever gone for that?

It's simple, you just have to ask yourself "Would INnoVation win this?", then "Would Maru win this?", then "Would TY win this?", "Would aLive win this?", etc.
and the answe is always pretty much the same. The difference between good and amazing players can be in very little things that just amount on top of each other in a game and build up a big advantage,
Maru would've kept up the WM drops and just strangled Neeb's eco. TY would've had ghosts and slaughtered the army with EMPs. aLive would've....well he lost to herO, so I dunno. INnoVation would've just had three times as much bio and steamrolled right over Neeb's army.

Those guys still lose to this though.
Maybe I'm just salty because Major was playing much better this tournament. His macro and control has been insane. But then nope it doesn't matter how bad Neeb's PvT is, he can warp in Adepts and press the shade key

If a Terran player beats a Zerg player, Terran is OP. If a Zerg player beats a Terran player, Zerg is OP. And so on and so forth.
I don't put stock into what pro players say about balance because I don't trust or believe them.

When the game was actually more fun to play and watch.

Like on Twitter both zergs and terrans pros would make fun of protoss for being the easy race. It's partially true, but you don't see protoss and zergs team up against terrans, because zergs and terrans both hate protoss the most and would rather play ZvT/TvZ.
