Snute is 33rd with 1038 points atm. Just hasn't played as many ladder games as the people ahead of him but has a 69.2% win rate

All of the countdowns in you guys posts are off by 12h, it says 1 day 22 hours for NA at the time of this post when really it should be 2 days 10 hours.

I know that's why his record is so good, otherwise he would have more points than this, but still sad to not see him play enough to get in.
I don't see him much these days, he was more active at the beginning of the year and got close to qualifying many times.

and they can play in the NA server qualifiers later

Depends on if State makes it up there in time. Bails will pass me, EJK is a tossup, Voltz also a tossup but less likely than EJK. He farmed eu because it was the best practice he could get without going to Korea. The ladder is competitive compared to NA and everyone is tryharding.

I think the rules of the competition should be revised by Blizzard. As it is Neeb, Major, and several players using second account barcodes (not eligible accounts) manipulated the fair play of this competition. Its not against the rules but it doesn't feel right.

It's a ladder competition. They are playing each other on the ladder.
If you're too young to play in WCS, should you not be allowed to ladder at all because you might hit someone who's trying to qualify for the event? ._. You can't bar people from playing The Game Itself because there's a ladder competition going on, that would be absolutely ridiculous.

There is always the issue of fair play - not exploiting gaps of the system. Even if ladder rules have not been breached - fair play rules have. I've seen the evidence. Its not mine so I cannot disclose it but it is there to be found, using logic doesn't hurt either.

There isn't any reason to ladder atm. The next ring of people are all too low to make a difference, and the only way they have a chance is to miraculously get fed points OR if people towards the bottom go on a lose streak and the points differential can be overcome more easily.

Anyone above Bails should be safe, seems like right now, it's between people on ranks 16-20 (EJK, Pokebunny, NoRegreT, ByRada, SaroVati, all except Pokebunny seems to be still playing). Considering both TRUE and Cham are ineligible, the cutoff is rank 18.
