So you're saying Solar shouldn't have done the attack because Stats didn't overcommit to phoenix ? The push looked rather scary though, at some point it looked like he could break through

yea i wouldnt go for it vs what stats did but like you saw in snute vs zest its almost freewin vs 2star phoenix on some maps if you dont take a lot of damage early

Not to take away anything from Snute, who clearly prepared against Zest's normal build. But game 3 seemed kind of off given how Zest was floating above 1K minerals at one point. Surely that can't be normal given a player of his caliber. Has anyone been able to interview/speak to Zest yet?

regardless of whether there's merit to the idea that zest was playing sloppy for any number of legitimate reasons, i really don't think we should be pushing this "wrong server! hiding builds! wrong time of day!" etc. kind of attitude. it's not about supporting foreigners, it's just about having the right attitude in general. at the end of the day there's no difference from someone on ladder saying "oh i'm drunk and i was looking away from the screen" to excuse their loss. the game is what it is, none of us were in the room with them, and snute won. if all it takes to beat a korean online is random luck it wouldn't be snute doing it over and over

Watch some more Zest games, paying attention to his spending. I'm not saying he has BAD macro, but he definitely doesn't have great macro. Snute 4eva

Anyway PvP semifinals would hopefully be quick so don't conflicted with the KFC.
