well, that was one-sided. Not sure why Speed even went for that opening. One base tech but then only a drop and late expand. The only one who can make that work is TY, everybody else just fails horribly

I have none.But i rather get behind than die instantly. The timing of protoss bullshit is stronger than terran so terran tries to bullshit first is not a good option. I think herO will behind if he can't do damage cause 2 orcale + pylon is huge investment but too hard to say cause speed is daed.....

i don't think protoss is imba, but it does always seem like they have the most variety of viable units and unit compositions... they just have so many units that are solid against a lot of different things

i think taeja wasn't expecting/hoping for charge to be done? he was trying to fly around and be fancy with the tanks when the zealots started charging in, then he was like "oh shit" and had to retreat his entire bio army, which allowed the protoss army to charge through the liberation zones without taking damage from the bio

According to some Protoss players I've heard talk about it - mainly PtitDrogo - the carrier builds are completely broken on Dusk Towers in PvP.

Getting supply blocked can still get you killed.
Absolutely you still don't want to get supply blocked and not use supply calldown on purpose, but if you get supply blocked you should not think twice about it and just call down supply, since it's pretty good now.
Just trying to say, getting supply blocked if you have energy on your CC is no longer a big deal for terran. In some situations it might be worth it just to save APM or when the map is almost mined out too.

It's dynamic. It's not the hit-or-miss nature of disruptors but the constant small attacks everywhere trying to draw attention from main army. Way more interesting than ling/bane (which I am awful at).

Clearly you should never die to anything 1 base, especially in LotV, but honestly this shit never happens and you just get surprised. And as a zerg I know that feeling.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I like both of them. But I don't think either of them is really a top 8 level player atm. Especially when I think of how bad Trap got trashed by TY.

let's face the facts, only terran in JA who is even close to TaeJa's level is Cure and Trap simply does not have anyone to practice pvt with in JA house

Not to say TaeJa didn't play well by the way. Just... if you look at this group, you'd think "All the other groups are harder". And that's how they played, like the weakest group. SpeeD got completely bopped by herO, and Trap kept making random adept sacrifices.
Frankly, in the end TaeJa taking 2nd was the only thing that made sense for this group, but I wouldn't favor him against whoever advances in 1st tomorrow.

Why would you have a problem?
People will take this as a proof that Taeja would have done well in GSL while he played in WCS. Ofc that would be a ridiculous statement but i doubt people would be that reasonable. Also i am known as a "taeja hater" for not believing that he should be around the top in a goat list. His ro8 in this gsl season already makes it hard, people love to take anything they can to "prove" their point (not that i am immune to that, hehe)

Nah i understand. This simply wasn't the hardest gsl group ever to say the least. I would have thought that Trap advances and not Taeja, but this isn't too surprising. Ro8 already is a pretty good result though, so gz Taeja and gl in the playoffs (you will need it )

I am a big Taeja fan but I can admit Taeja wouldnt have done so well in GSL after he started attending all those weekend tournaments because he was horrible at preperation games (WCS being the best example for that)
So happy for Taeja. True it wasn't the toughest group, but time and time again Taeja has shut up the people who try and claim he can't compete with the kespa koreans
