I'd argue that a higher seed could be seen as a "bonus" as you're likely playing an easier player and more likely to earn more money | ||

There's no guarantee you'll get an easier opponent if you win the group than if you take 2nd, and thus no guarantee you'll get more money at the end. But as 2nd place, you can at least guarantee yourself to get more money than the guy who wins the group by going 1-2, 2-0, 2-0. Even if it's just for a round. Look at it this way - if from now on Zest and TY have the same results every round until they meet each other, TY will have earned more money until then, despite losing more. I'm not sure that's how the system is supposed to work out. | ||
