I'm predicting 2/3 koreigners drop out before the Ro8~ there's only 3 Koreans in the whole tournament... As in 2 out of 3, yus. lol, i totally read foreigners. fair enough. i guess looking at the bracket it does seem possible only Hydra makes it to RO8 you favor Dayshi over Polt ? I think Polt has a better chance of going ro8 than hydra yeah me too i haven't been paying attention to the sc2 scene too much lately but i was under the impression Hydra was an actual Korean Korean and Polt has only been playing part-time and it's been showing? also, if Hydra beats Happy, he's up against an American so he's basically ro8 at that point. Do note, both Neeb and Kelazhur have taken sets (Neeb in a much more important place, albeit) off Hydra in the past month or so. I actually predict an upset over Hydra, and viOLet's.. odd, while Polt should be able to make the Ro8 albeit I'll predict in sloppy fashion. i'll take you guys' words for it, interested to hear Polt is fulltime again btw, did he not like his studies? i have no clue who Neeb and Kelthuzad are, but i saw their nationalities and automatically wrote them off tbh. good for NA scene if they're good. i know Happy's been killing, but he always does that online and then goes full potato offline. trust someone that's been following him since war3 on that one. Neeb is really really good. And Kelazhur is no joke either when he's on form.

Pure ground? Not sure, you need some infestors and have a big bank for a huge ling remax.
But PiG needed to sprinkle his hydra/lurker army with 6~8 brood lords.

It just shows that everybody should just calm down and give the game half a year of competitive play to get figured out. definitely !!! The game feels amazing both to play and watch atm, just let people tamper with it. Still not sure if it is good that immortals wreck everything Z on the ground :/ Feels like shit design.

if the Z does stuff it's way harder for the P to go for 16 immortals. Like the 1st aggression from PiG was that drop ling at min 10 or something...

IF PiG wasnt so far behind a ton of cracklings + runbys actually do wonders, you just have to look at Serral's ZvP

The key is getting the hive tech and it can be pretty hard if the P is good at harassing.

Immortals destroy pretty much every ground unit of every race, so at least they're consistent.

seriously though, infestors are quite good against immortal adept chargelot imo, i expect to see more of them if protoss keeps playing this way

Interesting. I have somehow managed to almost completely skip PvZ of all matchups lately, so I haven't seem much. Last time I saw someone going immortal-archon against lurkers, it did not go very well though ... probably it just got figured out better.

The thing is - if zerg doesn't do anything aggressive early on - you need immortals. Chargelots alone or blink stalkers alone can't do anything, you need some tech units. Either immortals or distruptors, which aren't so reliable so the answer why we see double robo immortal is pretty obvious.

For having played the P side a lot on the ladder, I can tell you immortal chargelot archon usually gets vaporized when done out of 1 robo but can absolutely dominate when done out of 2. The double robo idea is actually pretty new (maybe 1,5 month ?).

That was some top 3 control
