Yep. I actually don't expect casters to be extremely knowledgable about the game (which seems weird, but in football they aren't either), it's more about the general feel of the cast for me. Which is why i never hated on Wolf/Valdes, i quite liked their chemistry pretty much from the beginning. I mean sure, the ideal case is to have someone who knows the game on a very deep lvl, but for me personally this isn't that important.

They are usually pretty knowledgeable in American football (ex-coaches, players, etc)... And I'm sorry but GTR was awful, just awful. I could do a better job simply by talking less and letting Tasteless control the casting flow. He rambled on, he didn't really make good points, and they need to coach him up if he continues to cast.
It's not a matter of being a "hater", it's just observing what happened... I don't hate him lol, I just cringed several times after watching the VODs. Def. some things to "smooth out" I'd say. This is supposed to be a job for the pinnacle of casters, not something that sounds like a YouTuber's first shoutcast attempt.

I think my favorite cringe worthy moment was in game 1 of the Soulkey vs. Trust series.
- about 6 minutes in...Tell me that isn't fucking TERRIBLE lol! We shouldn't have to listen to a new caster get his training wheels in the SSL.
*Edit* Didn't realize GTR was affiliated with Liquid - I apologize, not trying to be rude, just stating observations. The legitimacy of the sport is at stake. I love my mom but I don't want to listen to her cast either. Not saying she couldn't do it, but it would take some work, just like GTR.
Am I the only one who suspects match fixing from alive vs myungsik game 2? poor response to ghosts, not targeting the tanks, poor micro towards the end of the end including suiciding a warp prism. just seemed really really bad overall.
