The first WCS Regional Challengers of 2016!
The format is an 8-player group stage (round robin), then double-elimination playoffs with the top 2 players of the group stage in the winners bracket, and the 3rd-6th place in the losers bracket.
The winner gets $1,600 and a spot in the 2016 WCS Winter Championship (IEM Katowice).
Group Stage will be played in a span of 5 days (7-9 and 14-15 January).
Playoffs will start on 16 January and the Grand Finals will be played on February 1 at the 2016 Taipei Game Show (Playoffs announcement).

This tournament came out of nowhere. I was reading TL and suddently a thread about the regionals.

I don't believe Sen can get stopped a second time, although his ZvP did look terrible

Has is so much better than everyone but Sen, and Sen has the map pool in his favour. Has pls pull through

I don't know, I like watching the Chinese streams.
Just like people watching the French stream even if they understand nothing.

I couldn't find anything written, but I think it will be like last year's Challenger league. Every regional challenger needs residency in this region, or some kind of visa.

Well, Sen lost 0-3 twice today... Has is a heavy favorite now.
The grand finals will be in more than two weeks.
