The tournament consists of 16 players from which 8 are invited and the other 8 selected via two online qualifiers. The matches will be streamed in Finnish in front of a live audience and community streams will provide additional coverage.

The tournament is a non-BYOC competition played on Friday and Saturday February 5-6. A separate player area has been reserved for the tournament as well as a stage on which the most important matches will take place.

The tournament ticket is free for all invites and qualified players. The ticket entitles to the entrance to the ASSEMBLY event for full three days, access to the dedicated tournament area with a personal computer while the tournament lasts and the player lounge where you may enjoy snacks for free. is there a mistake in the info on the qualifiers?

The most current ladder map pool is used which is now 2015 Ladder Season 4:

Bridgehead LE
Coda LE
Dash and Terminal
Moonlight Madness
Terraform
Cactus Valley LE
Iron Fortress

I guess it's a mistake. Or isn't it?

With that prize pool, is it even worth it to travel to Finland?
I used to organize tournaments for ESL Italy and referee Go4SC2s, WCSs, and IEMs for ESL SC2.

Assembly has fallen to be a low-tier event sad because I usually really like the Assembly events.

As for Koreans going, not even worth. 1500 euro first prize? nah.
I used to play random, but for you I play very specifically.

The time of the final has been changed from 18:00 GMT (+00:00) to estimated time 13:30 GMT (+00:00) so the tournament can conclude before the IEM Season 10 World Championship SC2 European Final #2. Some players have earned a spot in the WCS qualifier and would naturally like to compete in it. Since the WCS qualifier is a big thing we are willing to accommodate the players' wishes.

There is se Namshar, ch Elroye and it Reynor participating. The prize pool is not big enough to attract many players from abroad, but with Finns like fi Serral and fi Welmu the quality of the tournament is still good.
