Yeah, but it seems like for so long it was all Roaches, with sometimes Hydras or Infestors. Maybe I got unlucky, or wasn't paying attention, but things feel like they're looking up.
I bear this sig to commemorate the loss of the team icon that commemorated Oversky's 2008-2009 Proleague Round 1 performance.

That is unquestionably ZvP

I can count 7 different openings for ZvZ on top of my head, Protoss plays like, 3 different? macro builds in PvZ

e: I agree on ZvP having the variation, but it very often feels like Zerg just trying to be a bit cheesy to get a metagame lead

You can throw together almost any combination of units on either side and have it be viable in ZvP as long as you're reacting to your opponents.

Man if Hydra keeps playing like this I don't think he is going to go very far.
First game: sloppy ling micro loses like 12 lings to 2 banes.
Second game: no vision on rocks, almost throws.
Third game: indecisive with roaches, proceeds to lose third base and all his roaches, doesn't scout roach transition.
Just an all around sloppy series tbh.

Protoss actually plays anything other than 3gate +1 into +2 blink, oracles into +2 blink and warp prism into +2 blink?

I guess there's the occasional triple stargate sometimes

his initial roach movement was good and allowed him to recancel elazs third. but yeah after that his positioning was very poor. he had roaches afk north of his third as it was attacked by lings and also lost like four queenz to muta and lings unnecessarily. and the misread on the followup

easy mistakes to make against good muta play but shouldn't happen to a wcs champ
