Calling all Starcraft II Amateurs and Ladder Heroes: Rival Starcraft II League is returning for a 3rd season! For those of you that got to brandish your talents for our first two seasons, now is the time to prepare yourselves for yet another chance at clenching the title of RSL Champion! If you did not participate in the previous seasons we hope you will join us for this exciting singles GSL-esque competition!
In Season 2, we finished our qualifiers with 16 participants going into RO16 group stages. This season we are bringing back the RO32, so there will be more chances to qualify for the group stages in this upcoming season of the RSL!
To reward some of our players that supported us and competed in the prior season, we have invited 4 of our top finishers to skip the qualification process. This means that there are at least 28 slots waiting to be claimed!
Please remember that this is an Amateur League, meaning if you reached WCS Premier League in 2015, you will be unable to compete in this tournament.
This season we have decided to use the same region qualifications used in the WCS. If you are not eligible to play in the NA/EU WCS then you are not eligible to play in the RSL.
Please keep in mind this is tournament is based in NA, so if you are in EU and wish to play in the RSL, you will have to be capable of playing at the scheduled NA times.

5th-8th: $25
On behalf of the RSL Team we would like to invite you to participate in our qualifiers and compete in season 3 of the Rival Starcraft II League! Signups are open now and will run through Wednesday September 23rd. During the events please meet in the "RSLsc2" group.
Qualifiers will be held on four days in case you miss one or are unable to claim one of the first several slots! Qualifier dates: Sept. 24th-27th at 6pm CST/ 7pm EST / 4pm PST
Round of 32 will begin immediately on Oct. 1st-4th and 8th-11th with the group stage format used last time and also in use by GSL.
Round of 16 will begin immediately on Oct. 15th-18th.
The group stages will be broadcasted live at 6pm CST / 7pm EST / 4pm PST
The RO8 Single Elimination bracket runs through Oct 22nd-25th.
So once more, warm up your fingers, clean those keyboards, stock up on Mountain Dew, and be prepared to ravage the battlefield with your APMs and strategies in the 3rd season of the RSL!
