First series is a blowout. Unless Yoda remembers 2-rax > DRG he's totally dehd.
The next two don't seem quite as one-sided as they appear. I think Taeja and soO still have it, but somehow Seed and Sorry strike me as dangerous. Especially Sorry.
YoDa vs DongRaeGuin in GSL Code A Season 2 round of 48. YoDa is going to do 3 epic throws against DRG <.<. Just like his last TvZs.
since then when it happens there's usually someone on staff around that can edit in the missing info. Like I had to fill in a whole GSL final once that was made by a different OP because he wasn't around when it was going on
Do we even know how much TaeJa is still playing? I wouldn't be surprised if he was just kind of coasting to the finish at this point. Didn't even show up to the SSL qualifier

Not gonna lie, he should have won against both Losira and Shine. Those losses were mostly on him. If he goes into this with the right mindset he can totally beat DRG.

Yeah I know, he was supposed to be far above Mvp by now, wasn't he? Still, the possibility is there that he beats DRG. He made the Ro16 last time, after all.

GSL is a bit of an exception to the WCS rules in some ways...thus they are on their own timer. A better question is why WCS takes so long to complete
Because they needed dat French venue so they didn't do shit for a whole month .
sigh, dont understand why ro32 and ro16 for WCS couldnt be online...
That's not even so bad, I don't understand why they didn't just do the Ro16 in March at one of their studios. It's easier for the players because the atmosphere is a bit more regulated than what I imagine it'll be like, and there is a lower risk of technical difficulties. Doing the Ro8 and onwards live at this event would have been enough, no?

thats exactly what I am saying, if the ro32 and ro16 wasn't played in studio, then the event could be done quickly and efficiently, but because its not there is a month between ro32 and ro16 then ro8 in the same weekend as ro16 week makes no sense

yup, I dont know if Blizzard wanted to model WCS completely after GSL (because its the same tournament design) but if so, they did it wrong...as vital to the tournament as the ro32/ro16 design is the preparation for opponents aspect, which has been warped terribly in WCS

Being a modest Asian = being a liar? Pretty sure the stereotypical archetype hero in Asia is the person who has the ability to overcome whatever odds he has to face yet remains a modest reserved individual instead of a hothead glory-hound.

I hope GOM, PL and NSSL wise up and remove expedition lost from the map pool as soon as possible, that way we could get one of the newer better maps from the TLMC.

DRG played really well but then he just stopped using his bank to get more ahead. Shouldve kept mining the bases across the map and mass static defense and starve Yoda.

He has been considering retirement for a long time, not awfully surprising.
Guys a koreigner with broken wrists who is a few month from retirement and who is not reputed for his hard work is facing a SKT Terran who can practice with INnoVation and Dream all day long, who probably spends ~12 hours a day playing, and who is on the rise (thus hyper motivated to beat his opponent) ; and you expect TaeJa not to get crushed? He took a game already, that's way more than what I was expecting from him.

Yeah. I don`t think simply cutting back a bit and exercising will be enough for the amount of playing his wrists have gone through.
It really seems like there is going to be a lot of turnover in Code S participants this season with 2/3 "new" players getting in so far. Quite a few of the other matches seemed to favor the qualified players imo. Not that it's a bad thing just something I noticed. I guess you can kind of put it up to the randomness of qualifiers from season 1
