EPTI've decided to postpone this tournament. I'll list the reasons below
-Date/Time are just bad. I knew the date/time was not convenient but it was the only time I had available. From now on the next cups will all take place on weekends during the day.
-Prize pool isn't where I'd like it to be. I'm going to be making changes to how prize pool is formed and the minimum requirements before a tournament is put together.
-Participants: So far their are 7 teams signed up, I don't think its worth it to run a tournament with 7 teams.
-Stream: Haven't been able to stream as much.
-Casting: Had a hard time finding casters ( only 1 so far ). To be honest I didn't look as hard as I should have, lost some motivation this past week.
I plan to re set the date to sometime in January. I will continue to stream and all donations will go into the next prize pool.
I apologize to anyone who set time aside for this and hope that you come out for the next one.

I'm in the process of putting together the second 2v2 Top Team Cup. I was very happy with the viewer ship for the first one and hopefully can make improvements for this next one.
If you like competitive team games please come out and support the 2v2 Top Team Cup where the top teams from North America, Europe and Korea compete for a community funded prize pool.
Registration:
-This is a open tournament, anyone is welcome to join.
-Sign ups can be done by posting in this thread or emailing me at 2v2topteamcup@gmail.com
-Please when signing up state you and your partners screen name and ID code along with your respective races and a team name.
-Example: Baz 345 (T) Mcleod 294 (T) Team PooPoo
-If you would like you can also include your country of origin when you sign up.
-Once you've signed up I will add your team to the bracket.

When:
-This will be a two day tournament. The first day will be played up until the RO 8 and the second day will be the remaining rounds.
-December 22 12:00 PM EST or 6:00 PM CET

Where:
-Channel 2v2Cup on NA server
-All tournament games will take place on the NA server. If by chance two EU teams are matched together, they may play on the EU server.
Format:
-Single Elimination Bracket
-BO 3 until semi finals
-BO 5 for semi finals
-BO 5 finals
-The top 8 teams from the previous 2v2 Cup will be seeded so that no team will match up in the first rounds.
Map Pool:
- Avalanche, Old Country, Crystal Pools, Katherine Square, Isle of Slaughter, Preservation, Dune Trenches
- A change of plans for the map pool. I really want to give some love to community map makers. After watching MeavisSC2 stream, I'm going to add two of his team maps to the pool. I know some people may disagree with this since they are not in the ladder but both maps look solid and should produce good games.
-Dune Trenches can be found on battle.net, this will be the first map played for each round.
-A second map made by Meavis will be added, I'll add info on that soon.
Prize Pool:
-The prize pool comes from donations given by the community.
- 100% of all donations will go towards the prize pool.

-Max prize pool of 500$. Any extra money will be put towards the next 2v2 Cup.
1st: 50% 2nd: 25% 3rd/4th 12.5%

Veto System:
-First map for each round will be Dune Trenches. The reason for this is I want this map to be played and I know if it's not made mandatory players will not choose a map they are unfamiliar with.
-Loser picks next map
Casting:
-Nox will not be available to cast this next 2v2 Cup. Therefore I am looking for new main caster, any suggestions or contacts are appreciated.
-If you are playing in the tournament you are welcome to stream up until the semi finals.
-More casters will be added.
