No, they're doing that on purpose to ruin everyone's user experience since who cares for Blizzcon anyways.

They're BLIZZARD after all, not some little cheap ass company.

Why does it take so long to rehost. If they have a LAN equivalent server what is the actual problem

The have a dedicated server setup for blizzcon, basically battlecon.net, so the problems should be local

What are we to do in all the other moments before the game starts?

How have Artosis's predictions been this tournament?
|
I blame monopolies like Comcast and America's internet infrastructure for this massive dysfunction. From now on they should hold all major tournaments where the internet isn't 3rd world status.

But why don't they just use battle net then? I mean everything else gets played there without problems...

No, I'm saying people sitting half across the world in the comfort of their bedrooms need to take a step back and realize that running an event of this magnitude adjacent to something like Blizzcon is fucking difficult and that people that know jack shit about the situation should stop saying "Wow, Blizzard are really incompetent". We don't know what the problem is at all, only that there is a problem.

It's funny because apollo just retweeted it right now

I know Raynor got a ban for this but I'll repeat it:
Blizzard is lousy at live event promotion , delivery and execution

Fact is they fuck it up in a manner people can't take it seriously anymore. What happens if this bo5 takes 4 hours with 90 mins of gameplay? This should have been THE tournament of the year, now it looks worse than any online tournament tbh.

Is my guess. based off of random qualifications Ill explain later. Zest and no Bomber/Rain? I can see Bomber, not really buying the Rain pick though Who remembers when Rain #1 PR? I blame the writers for cursing him. Also Artosis. Of course I remember, I put him there. Innovation has also been #1, that doesn't mean he's one of the game's 10 greatest Innovation has accomplished more than soo and zest. Elaborate! It's pretty self explanatory. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/INnoVation/Results http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Zest/Results http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/SoO/Results

GOGO CLASSIC! Oh boy, the w(h)ine in LR threads is as high quality as always.
Well downhyping games is important. People buy it anyway and are happier if its better then expected and play longer.

I think that is the actual problem, if they had gone with the regular setup, it would have been great but they wanted to be extra secure or whatever and the system is just not reliable, it seems
