Having the info on the bottom instead top is a matter of taste I guess. Exactly. And even design-wise, I find the blue/red colors very agressive. The saturation is too high. It should not be pulling more attention than the actual game. Yeah good point. Hmm.. I still think info clutter is an issue, and I know people are used to having every number in their face now, but it makes the game less exciting than the info. Way better to take apart builds and learn though. I'm not defending the overlay used, but I think it's better, just because it makes the viewing experience less reliant on numbers you can read (i e stats) and more reliant on the story you tell as an obs.
You are so 2009 .

I can not describe how bad that is. My brain wants to get used to getting the same information at the same spot, if they always switch it around I will go crazy and it's really annoying for the observer too I would guess. Just found out that this overlay doesn't even show the income D:

Didn't expect that at all. well mc has days where he is just soooooo good. and there are days where nothing works for him, always been this way with him Yeah, but I was more banking on YoDa turning his brain off in playoffs as he often does, but this is not the case today.

I think I'm getting used to it. The red and blue should be a bit more transparant and it's fine imo

Yeah it's horribly bad, feels so incomplete. I hope they read this thread to see the feedback.

You are so 2009 . Maybe, but it would make it easier to hype a game for casters and good observing would give us so much. We would be happier with games even if they weren't totally Scarlett vs Bomber on Habitation Station.

this overlay is DISGUSTING. im done.

Whenever I see storms in SC2 they look like little cloudbursts compared to BroodWar.

I would love to see the Overlay reworked, it feels too big where it should be small (player colors, game time, BO, the distance between minerals and gas) and too small where it should be bigger (production tab, map name). As a non-sub at twitch and someone who likes to watch the games not in fullscreen this is pretty irritating, especially the production tab gives me headaches...
Edit: Well some people were faster then me, i also totally forgot about the lack of an income/upgrade etc. tab...

Impressive display from Yoda. MC didn't stand a chance. Bummer, but still impressive.

Yoda read MC and played him hard. I was expecting the opposite to occur.
