shine is so code s though. can't compare them :D
Not if you ask Artosis
Artosis can't accept that shine is going to win this season
I think out of all the players who have made RO16 he is the one no one would want to win. Though I think if he beat Life or Stork in the final people would be so mad
He 6pools Maru 2 times in a row and takes the finals 4:0 overall.
There would be something horribly beautiful about that, but people would be so so mad
Shine's road to championship: RO16 group with maru, stork and life, drops to loser's match courtesy of stork sending stork fans into overdrive as he beats life. 6 pools maru and life out. In the RO8 he goes up against innovation and promptly 3-0s with baneling busts, RO4 he's up against soulkey where he turns the series into a 5 game 1 hour each swarmhost marathon. 4-0s stork with three six pools and a two hour swarm host game that gets remade into an hour long swarmhost game that he wins. SC2 then implodes and becomes too ded for even TB's dick.
The rage would be a sight to behold, would anyone be happy with that?
well, schadenfreude is a kind of happiness as well

Sniper ?
Sniper still needs to retain his former glory, it'd be funny if he won S3 and the Kespa tournament, makes it to Blizzcon and uses Bl/infestor to 4-0 Jaedong.

Sniper/Shine/Hyvaa. We have three of the inevitable top 4 at blizzcon, now who will be the fourth literally hitler zerg?

If IdrA had a decent mindset he would've been successful in sc2.
Don't let me start on Naniwa's potential.
so idra wasn't successful? LOL
I don't call a period of ~1 year into a period of ~2 years of "fuck this I'm done" successful.
On topic (lol):
you are a funny guy, being 11th in overall foreigner earned rankings doesn't mean anything ok.
I'm not saying IdrA was a bad player. I'm just saying that over a period of 2010 to 2014, which I mean when I refer to "SC2", IdrA was not a successful player. Let's count 2014 out, then he would've dominated the foreign scene for one fourth of the overall period of time he was active - which I do not say is successful in terms of results.
that's, like, 1 year longer than all foreigners not named stephano or naniwa did dominate. i'd call that pretty okay.
"pretty okay" and "successful" makes a difference. IdrA was still successful due to his EG contract, his fame and also his casting skills later on. But as a player, when the meta started to settle, he couldn't really adapt, nor could he bring his mechanics to fight his mindset, which made him lose over and over again. It's like Bomber's law: at some point, you have to overcome it, or you lose against yourself. Who's mentioning Bomber's law right now? Pretty much noone except those sceptics that always pull some slowpoke stuff. But Idra? Well, we all were so close when he fought that awesome macro game vs. (I think) Polt. Then the seeker missile came and BOOM, quits. I can't call a guy who failed fighting his problems (i.e. mindset for idra) successful, doesn't matter at all how much money he earned in 2011.
Edit: that does not mean I disrespect him in any way. What he did almost required masochism.
