The response is a very common response. Maybe not in the GSL, but 50% of the time, that's what the zerg does to stop a cannon rush nowadays.

ah ok. I haven't been playing too many 1v1s lately. mostly just team games so I haven't come across it on the few games I played

ya that too. I think he panicked and didn't think of the follow up otherwise he could've easily defended that. Almost like hydra busts in BW. You scout it, builds cannons and if you can defend, it's usually gg(cannons+plantary with ff here thoug h).
