Finally, we can announce our Ultra Invitational tournament! It will take place at the 3rd/4th Mai 2014. It was a long road to this event, but it became way larger on the way to it’s release!
It all started with our Youtube video, the “Nvidia Shadowplay video contest”. We told you that if we would reach 60,000 views on this video, we will host a tournament that's dedicated to our subscribers - the TaKeTV Ultras. We started out with a prizepool of $2.000 - $1000 from Nvidia and $1000 from TaKeTV.
One whole month passed by and we even achieved more and more goals for our Ultra Invitational. We found a even more partners, who added money to the prizepool. With all added up, and we've got a total prizepool of $6.050!
For such a big prizepool we will have a really sick lineup with many players who travel to Krefeld and play from the TaKeTV studio!
Since the Ultra Invitational is a special tournament dedicated to our subscribers, TaKeTV will cover this event only in German. Though you can watch this event in English at one of the community streams.

Schedule/Format
The event, consisting of a group stage and playoffs, will be held on 2 days. At the group stage on the first day the 32 players will fight for the 8 playoff slots in 8 groups. So we will have 2 group stages with the GSL system on the first day - lots of Starcraft action for one day!
On sunday, 4 Mai, the playoff single elimination bracket will be played, consisting of 8 players. From this stage on, we will show every match on stream.
Public Viewing
For this event, we will have a special public viewing. You can not only watch all the matches live at irish pub “Limericks”, you can also attend our Homecraft after the event!
From midday to eve you can watch all the matches and from eve to the early morning you can come up to the TaKeTV studio and relax or party with us! Get more information about over Homecraft HERE (german).
