I do this when I want to sneak a probe out onto the map and 4-6 slow lings are outside my door.

I won a game vs a T with them to pretend I still had an economy so he would give up floating for the draw.

So basically it screws the blink all-in... But it doesn't affect the mid and late game...

blink all in is always part of the game
blink cooldown is huge for PvZ as well.
you can do much more daring blinks, some toss do aggressive blinks in PvZ to pick off swarmhosts and relies on the CD to not lose every single stalkers.

That is why they said about infestors...slow, cost a shitload of gas and T3... and T3 is kind of misleading. Protoss are basically all rushing HTs on 2 base now with the safety of MsC or pressure from blink builds. So HTs are actually more mid game units...

The issue isn't 1 specific unit being strong. It is the progression from blink --> HT --> archon that just works too good. Again, Classic played well but so did Maru.

Classic made a twilight, Maru scouted it and prepared for blink. Classic instead went up to HT robo tech and Maru tried to 2 base harass him to death, but defense too good. Eventually after 20 storms were missed, Classic's econ advantage finally kicked in and he won.

First game Classic teched hard to storm on and a robo on two bases and then took a third way ahead of Maru. Maru multitasked and dropped like a champ, but eventually Classic's army was just better from better eco and good defense.

Game 2 was a blink start on Heavy Rain. Maru held but threw away some units in the center of the map. Classic eventually rolled over him with immortal/chargelot/archon/storm.

I wonder why it is called Blink all in if there is basically no risk doing it, not doing that much damage and transitioning into a strong midgame?
Isn't the definition of all in to do something with high risk, high reward option?

I really think it is hard to look at the ghost as the issue when it occurs so late into the game.

Imo TvP problems all revolve around the Mothership Core and I think once they figure that unit out TvP will return to a good place.

Come on now, be serious. Blink Stalker all-in wouldn't exist with Blink having 15 seconds CD. He would lost all of his Stalkers when he blinked it, and that would be game. I am not defending all-ins, I also hate them, but nerfing blink would nerf Stalkers a lot, and they are only good because of it. They are pretty bad units for their cost, and mobility is their only strength.

problem is, blink is fine as it is IF NOT FOR ALL-INS. Blink all ins should be nerfed, not the blink ability tout court
