I think Hero might cheese him out in 1-2 games...but lets hope it'll be 4-0 polt;) 4-0 is not unlikely, Rain is imo the better player and he beat him. HerO's cheesebook is way better than Rain who is strongest in standard play. This could get close but I really want Polt to win because I am super annoyed at HerO and protoss in general. Even as a terran that game was so annoying to watch. Yes JD had a bad trade at HerO's natural but HerO failed 1st zealot attack, he failed 1st immortal push, in the end it was even 3 base zerg vs. 1 base protoss (until JD's third died) and he still wins because that map + forcefields = immortals with 60 kills. 1. He "failed" the first zealot attack but they traded minerals for minerals so it didn't do too much honestly. 2. He "failed" the first immortal push but once again huge trades and he kept his immortals alive 3. You don't get 60 kills on an immortal without SICK micro with the warp prism. Deserved.

Every time protoss loses people cheer, every time protoss wins people fling shit. And this has gone all way from WoL when Protoss was undoubtedly worst and least represented race in the game.

One player makes an amazing comeback while the other player makes a few mistakes and a big part of this community is being all negative about it. How about congratulating the winner on a job well done?

They should give him extra 10k if he wins. Poor guy played only against protoss the whole tournament :D

Well I managed to slow down my heart rate now. They both played a good series. Wish this thread hadn't gone to shit.

I was a BW fan back in the day, and I can confidently say that these balance whiners would have hated BW too. All the things they're complaining about (unit synergies, hero units, map-specific strats, abilities that are game-changing if used right, perfect micro players beating good macro players with amazing all-ins, players losing because of only a few mistakes, etc, etc, etc, etc) are precisely what made BW great.

You're wasting your breath, these people are blinded by ignorance they won't change now.

Let's see what kind of abusive Protoss strategies Polt will have to fight off.

Hero attacked 3 times on a 2base economy against a 3base Zerg, the first 2 attacks failed......and still he managed to win the game by abusing forcefield on a forcefield friendly map and saving his two immortals with warp prism.....Jaedong didnt play bad at all....he stopped 2 attacks.....and still lost....so it seems very unfair to many ppl.....

Man......what the fuck. As a Zerg player I just don't know what you can do better. He did a silly counter and lost a bunch of roaches yes but those units are like semi-fodder anyway.
What baffles me is HerO convincingly won the fight out in open territory vs Hydras. Forcefields > Open space I guess.

Exaclty. You just have to bait ALL 40 FUCKING FORCEFIELDS that the protoss has to win.Fucking simple and not broken as shit at all.
