Polt going past NesTea if he wins tonight :O They should give him extra 10k if he wins. Poor guy played only against protoss the whole tournament :D
He's the hero Terrans deserve.

So am I just misremembering the past out of nostalgia? It seems to me that back when I started watching StarCraft, someone achieving what seemed impossible was something to be lauded. Now it's an excuse to bitch and whine.

This clip is one of my happiest sc2 memories ever.

Easy to ignore the horrible engagement that JD lost the game with I guess?

why do you play/watch the game then if that's how you feel? all you do is complain about something you have no control over. You do on the other hand have control of what you watch/play. What do you really get from this? "Oh, it's just the game."
Just like all those guys who think LoL is easy yet they have a hard time finding a really good team to play on. "Oh, it's just because this guy/girl failed to do this and this. Not my fault." Please. I find your kind incredibly annoying. There's a reason why you see a lot of guys coming back to things that they found some success on no matter the game or game design. \('.')/

You can see the hero v jd fans by the polarization of this poll JD Fan here, voted 5 stars. Not all of us are blind. To be fair, I'd like to think some people even are not necessarily JD fans but just Zerg players that hate losing in this fashion, as it's not uncommon as a Zerg. I'm a JD fan but a terran player that hasn't played an SCII game in 2-3 months time now since I don't enjoy it as much as I used to. I think the game was very tense and HerO played really well. It's just disappointing that the first thing I see after not watching SCII for a while is Jaedong losing after almost guaranteeing himself a spot in the finals. I would say the game was 3-4/5 or so.

After watching that game I can't conceivably defend how broken my race is with that strat... completely undeserved win.

poor jaedong, threw that game pretty hard.
Polt's still gonna win the tourney either way.

I'm kind of surprised it took this long for someone to pass nestea since he hasn't earned much for the past 2 years

I want a shirt with this smiley and the Power of Protoss/Zerg/Terran all over it.

Because it is disgusting how jaedong basically held 3 all ins from a protoss that had 2 bases the whole time only to lose on the final push of forcefields/timewarp/immortal basically. It is far more difficult to stop that protoss push for the zerg than it ever is for a protoss to execute it.
|
as a zerg player my first reaction to that last game was outrage, but lets be honest, hero micro'd like a god and jaedong threw away most of his army supply for those 2 gateways... if jaedong just stayed back at home after defending the first allin (or at least pulled out after seeing he cant do damage at hero's nat) and added hydras into the mix, he would have emerged victorious.
|
The only reason that game was tense was because I support one of the player more then the other. I don't think the actual play was that amazing , it was the 95% expected immortal sentry all-in, which leaves it up to the protoss forcefields to decide the game. I thought the swarmhost game was much better tbh

Fuck everything, I'll go drink some battery acid now or something. Lol. JD is so terrible with his consistent top 4 finishes. He never learns how to play decently. Must be hard to be butthurt all the time.
I'll never understand this devotion that people bring over for JD from BW days. Lets list all the tournaments JD has won shall we.
Asus ROG Numericable M-House Cup HyperX 10 year anniversary.
Its pretty lol worthy to compare him to HerO.
WCS NA S1 NASL S4 DH Winter DH Winter IPL Fight club MLG Summer quals IPL Season 3 qual 1. FXOpen Invite
Not to mention that HerO actually plays in PL and Jaedong plays in .. well nothing really. Not even GSTL.
