HeroMarine not making it into Premiere really makes me sad, he is in my opinion the greatest German talent in SC2 thus far.
Of course Starbuck deserved the spot and won fair and square, so it is just bad luck that one of them had to be eliminated too early.

Starbuck joins the Temple of Symbol.

Doesn't Symbol just use it to attack the main of his opponents? I guess this might make Starbuck into some kind of church founder sort of character in the Cult of the Nydus though.

Symbol is the lord of all things Nydus

Through him the nydus is born and access to the inside of your opponents base is granted.

Doesn't the loser still get to play in the Up/Down matches? Or did they change it in this years WCS?

Symbol uses Nydus for everything including reinforcements and defense and all-ins. He is the lord and savior. The beginning and the end.

*But more specifically he used that against Jjakji in HSC.

The Nydus was pretty bad, too. Not notivcing it in his own main with vision on it was really bad. His mechanics were not on the korean, aka. needed level to play T that game I guess.

Wait did he not notice? I thought that he lowered his depots so his marines could get through.

If he DID notice, he reacted horrendeously bad. You can kill a nydus with basically nothing and if you notice it instantly, it doesn't ever finish in ANY case.

As far as I know, no up and downs. However, that also means that more players gain access to challenger each season.

But seriously, why don't Zerg use Nyduses as reinforcement routes to outlying bases more? It is because the unloading time is too long, the units will clump up and because the manual unloading is too apm intensive? Or just because it never caught on?

Maybe Frost? Also not very good against Zerg.

Probably just easier to move the units there manually and it isn't that much slower.

I was comparing to the same system but with up and down.

I don't play Zerg and I'm absolutely not a progamer. But that feels like one of those things we say now, and if someone starts doing it a lot everyone will be like "Ohh, of course, he's doing that."
