ive said this before, but there is a reason why we see so few new terrans. The old esf terrans who have played for 3 years master the race to perfection and can at times make it look imba. At the same time its incredibly hard for new terrans to reach that level. This is what makes innovation stand out and why its so impressive that he has reached the level he has so fast. With all the talented kespa players, known for their hardwork and mechanics etc, its surprising there are so few terrans. Its a bit naive to think its only because kespa has alot of good protoss.
I guess back in the day other terrans could, like some protoss players today, have success with cute builds and 1 base plays. But thats not possible for terran in 2/3 matchups anymore. You can have alot of different protoss players who can fill a role and are good at certain styles but all the terran players need to be all round to be able to contribute to there team.

You really underestimate Immortals and sentries...
The immortal all-in follow up was clever because, Kal knew Soulkey had to play a bit greedy to catchup after that early game deficit. Not sure if he planned it like that or it was a reaction to the fact he couldn't finish it off right there and then with the zealot warp in, but anyway it was smart and it was well executed.

That guy is right, his Proxy ended up with poor control and his first Zealot and a Probe got surrounded by Drones, while if he waited for 2 more Zealots that came like 20 seconds later, he would have won it right there, pretty much... And you are deluded if you think that clicking on Immortal and clicking him to move away from enemy units is good micro.
Not to balance whine or anything, but I still didn't see anything impressive that game, it looked like 2 cheese combined into one, then followed up by Oracles and then by Immortal all-ins. The only impressive things were Soulkey's holds, but that is also because Kal was messing up with those cheeses early in the game, but it all ended with Immortal all-in, so it doesn't really matter.

Don't see where nice timings and punish greed have anything to do with that.

Creator got overconfident after leaving the first battle with 3 colossus, he also slips a few important micros. That said, Rain is always so clutch in late game

Yeah, as opposed to starting his 3rd, adding more production and going back home to defend it, or at the very least, posture at Rain's own 3rd so he can't expand again and then recall back once his own 3rd is finished.

Rain's army was split in 3, creator possibly didn't see one of the groups and decided to attack because he killed the third so easily and figured Rain's supply was too low.
Still, if it wasn't for the sick warp prism/immortal micro and chase, creator would have been equal or just at a small disadvantage.

Im pretty sure creater didnt see part of rain army going for the concave... they dont have the vision we do and in my opinion it wasnt a bad assumption, it was amazing that Rain manage to "see" that and make that move while under that much pressure

as the colossus player you are supposed to play very passive. after such a huge strike (ie killing the 3rd) you need to fall back almost always, since your robo reinforcement are so far away and you have already done your job. so yes, he did take a terrible decison even without seeing what he walks into (which then again a colossus player should never do). too many unnecessary risks taken. punished.

When doing an all-in like that, you always stop drone production at 15-20, otherwise you wont have enough lings to deal damage. The third hatch is for larva and to fake opponent out if scouted.

I agree, the best part of proleague is proclaiming how good your team and how bad everyone else is is the best part. If you're not cocky, you're not allowed to be a fan of said team.

I have pride in cheering for my team, don't you worry. I've cheering for them for almost 3 years now, waking up in the morning, doesn't matter what time it is. I make shops for them, cheer for them even though they lose almost every match. But everytime they lose, I have to witness people just hating on them for no reason. I'm proud of Prime, really. SKT deserves this win. Hell, Prime has giving this community one of the best Terran to ever play this game, not once, but three times. It just saddens me. (I know it's people trolling but still).
And yes, it has been 'cool' to hate on Prime for several seasons now. But well, I guess it's hard to realise for someone who cheers for a team who can literally buy everyone and anything in this scene.

I feel like Kal's approach to his game against Soulkey is very clever. Soulkey is by far the more established player in SC2, known for his solid defensive play. I think Kal is smart to bring the game into some chaotic, uncharted territory, where Soulkey can't just switch on autopilot. Very well prepared game by Kal.
On the other hand, I have to say, Terror's game against PartinG is very ill prepared. It's simply the wrong strategy to use against PartinG. Maybe on players like sOs, but if you've watched PartinG's games you know this kind of ling gimmicks is not going to work against him. Remember season 1's group of death and PartinG's remarkable hold against Life's 10 pool? with that ridiculous sim city and rock solid composure? Remember in that very same season, when Soulkey killed PartinG's natural with lings and PartinG still managed to come back and win?
Creator against Rain... it's a very close game for the most part, but Creator's decision to commit on that last fight was a little strange (altho granted, Rain's army control in such a situation was truly remarkable). Also, I feel like going Colossus off of 2 bases is simply not a strong choice anymore.

Really amazing hold by Parting.Failed cheese like that deserves a ceremony. I guess 'twas prime coaches decision to cheese Parting and at the end it made Terror devastated.
