Yup, Symbol was the only one attacking multiple places at the same time. Jjakji wasn't constantly dropping all over the place at all.
i'm not complaining about balance, but spreading single medivac drops in late game on huge maps like that isn't exactly gosu level play, it's neither difficult nor expensive for terran whereas zerg has a much harder time managing a hive tech army and defending without letting mules take the game over exactly as happened here
not imba, just a fact about how macro tvz tends to play out because of each race's respective strengths/weaknesses
Jjakji even managing to secure as many bases as he did for any length of time, particularly on a map like that, is extremely impressive play in and of itself. Either that, or evidence of shortcomings in Symbol's own. Anything over 4 really shouldn't be possible against a Zerg who's on his game.
In any case, both players played extremely well but Jjakji's super clutch engagement against the brood lord army was what enabled him to get into a winning position.
Symbol decided to go hive tech so not enough mutalisks to deny bases. If he doesn't go for hive he fells behind in upgrades. Such a great game anyway
Taeja is a top 10 player in the world. Hyun isn't on his level plain and simple.
Reaching the finals and qualifying for both Red Bull Battlegrounds and DreamHack Winter seem pretty good. Seems a bit cruel to say HyuN isn't on TaeJa's level.

As much as people would like to blame that game on mules and marines, that game was symbols to lose in the end. Every masteful move he made that led up to a diverse army with broodlords, expansions all over his side of the map, and nydus canals at each end of the map, he threw away by not properly defending his expansions, not properly denying Jjakji's (yes he would stop them initially, but J would just move right back and drop mules), and throwing his army away in that awful engagement in which he lost all his brood lords. That might've even been the turning point right there.

well we will soon see if Hyun is on Taeja's level.

I still think it's better than BF4 spam. Also having flashbacks to the WCS Season 1 Finals (maybe) when essentially every twitch ad was Crysis 3 with ZZ Top in the background. Ugh.
