An army with ~6 Tempests and 7-8 Colossi + whatever ground is needed (mainly Stalkers/HTs) with Observers in Move command behind Colossi can easily decimate that precious army the Terran spent 10 minuts building. After that, your much faster remax, combined with the fact Terran is contained on 4 or 5 bases while Protoss has the rest of the map will allow you to win easily. till i see this, i have to disagree. maybe if you add storm, cannons, and revelation into the mix. 7-8 colossi is overkill. he will just build even more vikings and then what :O Then watch aLive vs First on Whirlwind from Season 2 Finals. Someone remembers existed and played games. What is this? who ?

I mean there are situations where I can understand being whiny, there are situations where your mistakes aren't really big so you don't notice them, but he was playing pretty damn bad, far below his skill level, so I expected him to be furious about himself, not Happy... He surely is furious about the whole situation. You do realize that when you play SC2 games professionally on that level, there´s no marging for error and you can exploit the map however you like to your advantage. ToD just wasn´t prepared that Happy would do such a thing. And ToD probably already thought he had won. Something like that would kill almost everyone´s mindset. You are making it sound like Happy did something wrong on that tie game. ToD had options to actually win in that situation but didn't use it, he played bad, so it's frustrating to me that you make it sound that way. Happy played to win. The rules of the game are set before the game, fair has little to do with it. Anything can be made sound unfair with your logic, and building lifting would certainly go very very very low on my list of that whinefest. It´s actually you who wants to read it like that. ToD just wasn´t prepared to compete at that "low" level of mindgames. If you know you lost, all you can do is try to exploit something, so you actually could turn it around. So he used the map to his advantage. There was nothing bad about how ToD played until this moment, ToD just wasn´t prepared for something like that, which you could clearly see when you just went in to kill the buildings. It´s like the example I gave with CS. If your enemy shots at you and you only have 2% health left, all you can do is run and hide or flat-out die. Now, a really "intelligent?" player would try to hide forever to not be caught. And if the other player doesn´t find him (he cannot kill him, can he?), it suddenly is a tie? That would be a first. I have never ever seen such a thing happen, because every pro player in CS would be ashamed of himself, and to good reason. You never played CS, did you? If you just hide you lose because either you cannot stop the terrorists from getting the bomb ready, or you yourself cannot deploy the bomb. And still sometimes you need to hide to safe your weapon for the next round. Hence: Terrible example. Dude, that was just an example when playing 1 vs. 1. Not the normal CS mode where you need to defuse the bomb. If you don´t like that example, use Quake deathmatch or something else. My point still stands. One would have thought that being the SINGLE person in the whole thread who has a problem with flying buildings, you would after some time start to realize that you're on a mute point. But no. I admire your persistence. It's not the flying buildings, IT'S THE MAP! Looks like I have a perfectly valid point, otherwise you guys wouldn´t have given up to argue against it. ![]() Oh, the whole "you're arguing with me so I'm right"-thing again. It doesn't work like that tt

Most late game scenarios play out with one big fight and in most games I saw, protoss wins that fight if terran is unable to do significant damage up to that point. Those scenarios you guys mention happen so rarely that it is stupid to say who would win... but happy does it literally every 2nd game. and most terrans just dont seem to feel the urge to learn how to use the super army. whatever. pvt is def. not unwinnable for T in lategame. saying that is just plain stupid You pretty much found it. Most terran players are just too lazy, and protoss players are simply superior in character willing to learn how to master the ever so difficult art of storming and a moving. So that's why we prefer trying to out drop in 3 seperate places and attack the front at the same time rather then learn how to outmaneuver a late game protoss and consistently apply it. It's just because we're a lazy race.
