That is what happened, and it was anti-climatic. It was a great series though, Scarlett made one mistake, which cost her the game because units exist that can punish someone like that. Did you miss the part where Bomber had 3/3 and a fully saturated fourth orbital when Scarlett had barely anything at her fourth? "trips over a linemen and breaks his ankle". It was over within a minute or two anyways. She got outplayed, stop crying and deal with it. Maybe. How many people said GG in this thread after Bomber roasted all the Drones in Game 4? Don't miss the SCV your overlord passed over, don't detonate your banelings against rocks, don't run your mutas over where you should know widowmines are or split better against them. Why are people so obsessed with blaming everyone and everything but the players for their loss? It was Scarlett's fault and only Scarlett's fault that she went over those mines. Bomber lost his engagements because he failed to micro properly against Scarlett's banes. One bane often took out like 8-10 marines. His fault, not Blizzard's, not terran's or zerg's, not the cruel universe's.

That was my point, it was Scarlett's fault! But such a silly mistake shouldn't lead to a loss if it can be avoided.
If we could fix people tripping accidentally or getting injured in football we would, because it is annoying and it isn't a fun part of the game. But we can't and it is part of the game.
However, Widow Mines don't need to be such game changing units that deal so much damage to everything that they replace Siege Tanks. This can be fixed. And yes, it means Terran will probably have to be buffed in some other way.
Scarlett was pretty dead, we all saw it. But the way it ended wasn't the most exciting, I think we all know this.

Does anyone feel like Scarlett could have won if she had transitioned to higher tech? (Infestors, Ultras, etc). I know there was basically no opportunity for her to do that, but if she had found an opening to tech up that might have given her a better chance.

from reading scarletts twitter i guess it was a small mistake for not countering the chesse since her overlorder had spotted the scv.But small moments like this define a big match,I really thought scarlett deserved to advance since she beat bomber in the straight matches and held on good despite the chesse.Now I am hoping for bomber or jaedong to take the tournament but in true sc2 tradition of "the most unknown korean usually ends up winning the tournament" I can bet my life saving that first will win the whole thing.

i think nerves effected her in the last game, she just wasn't her self. people underestimate how much nerves and pressure effects performance.

Rofl what a joke. "Tripping accidentally" or "getting injured". Pretty sure Scarlett didn't accidentally trip, she made a major mistake. Like someone who messes up an easy goal or a goalie lets a ball go between his hands, not someone who just has the universe unfairly hit them with some unavoidable curse. Brb let's take all mistakes out of every game, SC2 is now a button mashing game where we see who can hit 200/200 of one race's one unit fastest then the game automatically a-moves your armies into each other on an open plain to avoid "accidents".
