Innovation was constantly getting caught unsieged and didn't bother holding air control(and 2-3x times got his tank count completely reset from being dropped ontop of). He also didn't add in ravens for PDD(2 supply to tank 20-40 marauder shots, yes plz). The only reason this wasn't an insanely one sided game was because innovation kept killing shittons of workers and his macro was practically flawless. If you're gonna go in unsieged and get raped by random marine surround, you're better off playing bio.
He's both better mechanically and is superior in his strategic thinking. Playing mech for Bogus is like shooting himself in the ballsleg

Mech is fine. Taeja just had a big macro lead early on that he couldn't translate into a game lead until he bled Innovation dry. Mech has a bigger army at 200 unit space so the bio player is left trading inefficiently if both players max out. Innovation's end game was to switch to more tanks and thors and decreasing hellbat count and going for a big push to deny Taeja his extra bases and bleed Innovation dry instead. Taeja just constantly kept Innovation off his bases and 200 unit space and bled him dry. Innovation stayed in with some of the sickest hellbat/medavac micro I've ever seen. But Taeja's big macro lead was too much.
I really don't like newkirk anyways. People say this game was sick and it was but it always creates long games that tend to be boring. The only reason it was any good was because of the constant action. Split maps are boring and only delay the inevitable.

Will there be free VODs of this?

I feel innovation was carried by his insane multitasking and insane mechanics HOWEVER, he never took air control, he was always looking to defend his tanks with just turrets, if he had established air control that game would have been 100 times harder for Teaja yeah, i'm astonished he held on so long without any aa. felt like he was on auto-pilot and/or he seemed to think if he devoted too much time/supply to replenishing his air supply he'd lose the ground battle. taeja didn't actually have that many vikings, so he could've just skipped the thor and trumped taeja's viking count, but he didn't have perfect knowledge of the game etc.

He is truly bilingual. He switches between the languages effortlessly. He is also comfortable in front of the camera and can conduct an interview. A guy like that does not come along often, he is pure gold and I'm so glad ESL managed to get him for this.

Dreamhack should host the finals in Ericsson Globe, if they could fill it, it'd be batshit crazy

I agree, the fact that innovation could even keep up against the multipronged bio harass with mech is impressive enough
