And State has a satisfactory amount of templars for storm. Why would having a lot of zealots help immortals survive abducts? strange I don't have a great answer, but it might be that Zealots do a ton of damage, and them combined with charge and time warp, are effective against Roach-Hydra? No need to make up an excuse. He played fine first game. It seems like he just didn't consider that particular tactic. Overall I feel State this game has just played better than Snute since he started with the prism.

Well, nah, he can just win however he wants to.

Why would having a lot of zealots help immortals survive abducts? strange That way you have Zealots hacking into hydralisks when they kill your immortals. And stalkers win with the majority I guess. Didn't really get that either. Either way, my question was.. Isn't it super annoying to have whitenoise in your ears constantly while you're playing? Doesn't that impact players?

PvP has changed a ton too, which is strange in comparison to how similar PvT is to WoL PvT. Protoss isn't great, but it's better than it used to be.

It's funny I have noticed that Day9 has done this several times today: focused on slightly inferior tech, upgrades or unit composition and not noting the 50 supply army advantage or 40 worker leader. One of the things he used to be famous for saying all the time was "just go kill him", and today he seems to have completely forgotten that mentality that often quantity beats quality. EDIT: Don't take this as serious caster bashing. I feel day9 is an ok caster, and it's not like he is terrible today. It just seems a bit off, and I don't know if it is a deliberate act in an attempt to manufacture excitement where there is none to be found, but to people who play the game and watch a lot it can seem disingenuous or stupid.

It was far and away the most dynamic in WoL as well. Pretty polarized in balance (imo at least) throughout too. Seems to be even more so in HotS thus far, as we have not really hit that stagnant BL/infestor comp yet xD. Though even in the twilight of WoL we saw some innovation.

On certain maps, that silly Stephano thing with a bazillion Swarm Hosts looks pretty close. I hope it doesn't catch on.
