No because do you like BO losses? Theres SO many things to account for. You know thinking about it.. I think most of the raging/balance whining comes from this. Losses due to compositional error which is extremely unforgiving and sad compared to losing to a player whos just better at multitasking/positioning etc. The latter is something you can accept but the former is undoubtedly much more punishing.

So you mean that the player with the best STRATEGY won a Real time STRATEGY game match? How unthinkable! Clearly a flaw in the game.

I think that scouting is just another part of being good at Sc2 though. There are so many ways to infer knowledge and piece together the opponent's strategy.

Naniwa's probe rush was much worse and much more embarrassing, but that game was still awful.

Also 2010 games, can't forget how bad those were in general.

I remember Morrow once did that on steppes of war. I think it was against strelok. It was in a serious tournament, and Morrow pulled it off.

You can (I do it too) because you have a better "follow up" (typically double extractor trick to get to 12/10 and even get an overlord)

But I guess that, as Tastosis explained, the goal was to pull 3 drones to prevent a full wall-in to be made

Edit : If you drone even once, and take 3 drones to pull, you won't have 150 minerals when the pool pops.
