First, I couldn't find the vods on the WCS website, so I had to come into this thread to find the actual time the finals began. Naturally, the WCS website had already spoiled the results for me, as they are displayed on the right hand side.
Secondly, Day9 and Apollo's casting was embarrassing. They either were sleep deprived, drunk or something else was seriously wrong. They weren't actually saying anything half the time, they whistling, going "dum de dum" and whatnot during the battles. I had to apologize to the people (not so into SC as me) who I showed the finals to.
Third, the actual production was dismal. No good fillers, poor graphical presentation, awful sound. They even messed up the overlay in the last game (it showed sOs's supply as Innovation's, and vice versa). This is supposed to be the premier event and yet it was god awful.
The games were nice, though. Watched every single one of them despite knowing the results.
yeah seriously, some of the worst casting ive seen in a long time. Especially relative to my expectations
Why would you watch the Day9/Apollo finals stream for good casting? They basically told everyone that the OGN Lounge stream was casual, not in-depth and was going to be just friends watching the games and saying whatever. They had been casting for three days straight, their voices were raw, and they weren't the main casters for the finals. If you wanted the professional, in-depth cast, you watched Monte and Doa who did a great job all weekend. I can agree they were awful if they had acted like they were going to do a serious cast of the finals, but that's never what they promised. If you came into the secondary stream expecting anything more than a casual commentary on the games, then it's your fault for not paying attention to what they said all weekend about how the second stream was for fun.

Sometimes I wonder about people on this site. The two main casting streams were doa/monte and tastosis. The ogn lounge couch stream was not a true casting stream. It was just a casual side stream, not meant for serious casting. It was meant to be just them talking about the game like friends would at a barcraft. They weren't casting the finals and it was never meant to be seen as a dual cast. The finals on the ogn stream were given to doa/monte, just like mlg gave axslav/axeltoss the americas finals. The fault lies with you guys for not knowing the purpose of the couch stream and is based on your guys own ignorance. Please do a better job of informing yourself next time.
People like this and others who have criticized that stream is why we can't have fun things in esports. Why would a tournament or caster ever want to subject themselves to a casual couch stream again if people are just going to hate and go omg so unprofessional, not a serious cast, get the pitchforks out! I'm glad some people are smart enough to understand the purpose of the casual stream and enjoyed and had fun with it like I did.
That pen marks tells me you're a writer on this site. This would lead me to question anything you've ever written, if you can't even inform yourself on something as simple as the purpose of a casual side stream because fact checking doesn't seem to be your strong point.

Yup, I watched the ro4/finals with Day9/Apollo casting, and very much enjoyed it. Sometimes it's more relaxing and entertaining for some people to just listen to them speak almost as fan/spectators, as opposed to fluff/hype/professional.
i just have to say this People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones
take a look around of The series and overall, minor sound issues and some of lack UI should NOT be a problem to enjoy watch Try to Watch with main OGN stream it was satisfied enough to watch In comparison with other tournament broadcasting

Most teams probably don't invest in a psychologist for e-sports as far as I'm aware.
Not that I know exactly what lesser opponent he threw games to? Mvp and Roro were his only game losses. Probably the #2 zerg and #2 terran in the world. If #2 can't take games off #1, then even the word bonjwa wouldn't be enough to describe that...
