You can be nervous and successful. I did competitive debate and I know plenty of people that felt nervous a lot even when they were winning.


Sure you can - I know from experience, but a lot of the time when HerO loses, people say his nerves are to blame. I simply don't think that's the case.

Well, it makes sense that his performance could depend entirely on how well he can control his nerves. So his losses are because he's nervous and his wins are because he did well in controlling his nerves.
Even during difficult times, when I sat down to play the game, there were times where it felt like god has descended down and played [for me].

You can still be nervous and successful. I am nervous in every tennis tournament i play and I have won many of them. It depends on how you deal with your nerves.

This is such bad theory crafting. There is no room in your army for enough of any one thing to really be useful. Zerg thrives on switching tech rapidly to force out more costly unit switches from opponents. Also going for infestors without getting pathogen glands is a great way to die before lategame hits.


i am a master zerg i know i shouldnt theorycraft in this thread but i too have been having my swarmhosts getting slaughtered by collossi

ive been trying to think how to make ultras viable (because they get shredded by immortals) then it just hit me hahahaha.... just neural some immortals that maybe could work turning the tides.

and if i am only making 3 infestors just to neural 3 immortals and retain them after fights, then i wont be upgrading pathogen glands. thats useful for 5+ infestors. And by going roach/hydra/queen/swarmhost you can turtle like snute did vs alicia and eventually get that army + upgrades, instead while snute got 14+ swarmhosts and vipers and broodlords I instead would opt for some ultras and queen/hydra/ling with just 3 infestors for neural

k this last theorycraft post. just was sharing my strategy thoughts watching swarmhosts get shredded


You're definitely at a higher level of play that I'm at, but I feel like when the backbone of your army is largely hydra/roach you're going to lose in the lategame. I watch a lot of professional play and its so rare to see that work for long. As for ultras working well vs protoss, while they may perhaps get shredded by immortals you could force him to make them and then just switch into BLs since they don't shoot up. Its not like hes probably going to have a lot of immortals in his lategame army by default.

well im thinking hydra/roach is midgame. as im approaching 200food ill shift out the roaches

lategame 200food im thinking just a couple roaches, 2-3couple ultras (just to crush forcefields), 6 swarmhosts, queen+hydra, 3 infestors, rest of minerals into lings (and i guess some corrupters if protoss is going mass air) im thinking this is going to be my next goal army in my next few ZvP's
