They are not free in any meaningful way. You pay for swarm hosts, the locusts are only temporary and you can only get so many. You pay for them in time, tech, up front investment. It is like saying that reapers have free health. Sure they can regenerate, but saying that they get free health is misleading at best. | ||

swarm hosts are indistinguishable from siege tanks or tempests in terms of functionality, yet nobody says that those give you 'free units' and swarm hosts and infested terrans have little in common, ITs are much more like seeker missile, but again nobody bothers comparing those two things because they are dumb and get hung up on the 'free units' thing. it's why blizzard shouldn't listen to the community | ||
