This thread sure looks like Politics. eSF side is Democrat playing soft nicer Politics, and KeSPA baiters are Republicans playing hard unreasonable politics. Popularity is on Democrat side, but Republicans are more relentless. | ||

What it looks like to me is some people posting for the sole reason of pissing others off, and some other people reacting or " taking the bait " because it pisses them off that people post garbage like that. It has nothing to do with a back and forth. When you get to the actual core of the issue, very few people will argue that Kespa isn't currently doing better. I have seen literally 0 posts claiming that eSF is doing better than Kespa currently. People just don't need to be reminded of it(in a rude way) every single day, after a while it starts to get extremely annoying. It's going to happen some day I wonder what would happen if we all go on strike from doing LRs until this shit is kept out of LR threads (and kept in threads dedicated for this argument instead). I do mostly PL LRs because that's when I am available, so I don't actually get to see a lot of this crap in my threads, but I can see how it can be annoying for the OP. Go through all this trouble of maintaining the LR threads only to have trolls and idiots (on either side) fighting in it. | ||

Like the BW fans were personally attacked throughout sc2's inception despite their generous and warm hearts and under such persecution they decided that when it came time they would be able to get their just revenge. I never saw an article shitting on sc2 play analogising ivory factories, or threads dedicated to the superiority of the prequel, or posters actually calling Day9 scum for commentating on sc2. | ||

I can see how you find it obnoxious to come to the realisation that many of your favourite teams/players just aren't that good relative to these Kespa's you've never followed before. Elitist and Kespa pretty much go hand in hand. They're the elite these days, got 14 or 15/22 Code S spots to prove it, and will only get more dominant. I'd also love to see these 'facts' showing what I said is wrong (though I guess you're at least as biased as I am), in terms of results Kespa players are doing significantly better than their ESF counterparts. | ||
