(Now they regen life and thus can combat fighting units with good micro, in WoL they took away the ability to nuke buildings, did something to their speed I think too) | ||

I don't know the games you've seens but it might be that they stomp 1rax expands into tech and fastbanshees. Both builds don't get many marines early. So they are suszeptible to these early aggro builds. | ||

The polls should tell you the truth, ~95% enjoyed the games today and 5% idiots, whiners and trolls feels just about right. | ||

They aren't idiots for not enjoying some of the games... they aren't even idiots for complaining about balance (though it is inappropriate) I enjoyed a few of the games today, but overall thought it was far below what was expected. Parting v Life in series 1 and 2 was pretty good. Flash v Innovation was cool for game 3... kind of. Innovation v Life game 1 was cool. The rest were lame and none of them were really mind-blowingly good imo | ||

Not because of the matches but because of how some foreigners behaved there. What the hell. I realise they are the outliers because most of the guys and gals there were just sitting there, making cheerfuls and enjoying this vibe they might have longed for for over a decade now. But if those guys were to brag here in this thread I'd call them out and shout banworthy things on their heads. First and foremost because this isn't an issue of self entitlement but just basic manners. Dude, who the fuck do you think you are to literally strip the pizza out from another guy's hands? Like, really, I don't know if I should laugh or cry. What's wrong with you, jesus. The second, but apparently much sadder issue I accidentally saw was a group of people making the teary-eyed Flash stop and sign autographs and fucknot. If you really are a fan (and I guess you are why else would you watch a guy's matches and wait there for autographs) and respect the player you are rooting for the last, and least respectful thing you could do is to make him sign your shit and laugh there when he just went 1-4 and is running away, crying and demolished. How huge of a self-entitled fag do you have to be to not realise that just because you had the chance to get to this studio tonight it doesn't make you automatically coolbro how can just do as he pleases. Jesus christ. The matches were kinda meh, I was watching some baseball with some koreans after the winners match but the overall atmosphere was fantastic. I'd dare to say even better than the Ror0 - someone finals. Parting crying after his win was a really heartwarming moment he's such a cool dude, eternal respect, really. | ||

And yeah, I expected a bunch of really great games because all four of these guys are really great players. And considering this was billed and hyped as the greatest day of SC2 ever, I definitely wanted great games. Almost every day in the GSL will give you a couple of great ones and a couple of good ones. Hence, the idea that what I got was far below what I expected. I'm not crying about it, I'm just a little disappointed. Take a second to chill before you get all aggro because some people disagree with you lol. edit: and it's not ridiculous to say that none of the games were mind-blowing when they have like a 99.9% recommendation rating with 400 people voting on them. That would usually lead someone to believe that they were off-the-hook amazing, and imo they weren't. Some of them were really cool, but others were just overhyped. | ||
