Uh, when did Innovation beat flash in PL recently? Flash eliminated Innovation from MLG.
He picked Flash because he wanted to make the ultimate group of death....
"It will be fun" - Innovation
Whoops, no he didn't. But I feel like he still would rather play Flash than Gumiho, since Flash's play style has been studied so thoroughly.
Not to mention Gumi is just better then Flash...
Yeah, no.
Well there is no conclusive evidence obviously and they are actually pretty close in skill level. Gumi just looks better to me.
GuMiho is infinitely superior to Flash in virtually every facet of the game. I can't wait for him to win Dreamhack + this season of Code S and shit all over you blind haters. Mark my words his true potential will be realized.
He's not good, famous or hyped enough to induce haters. It's all in your head.
Oh you're that troll that no one takes seriously. Thanks for your unlettered input.
How's that a troll, I am telling it seriously. He's not a champion, he's not famous, not hyped by casters, very few haters compare to other players.
And also, I'm not a native English speaker, please educate me which part of my sentence shows that I'm unlettered. Seriously not joking, my English is poor.
Unlettered doesn't necessarily mean illiterate. It can also mean ignorant/unlearned/uneducated/etc. And he is famous? He's a Korean progamer who's single-handedly acquired his team 'GSTL Champion' status twice (first through an all-kill, then a reverse triple). He has provided us the absolute most entertaining and intense games of SC2 ever witnessed. His multitasking and micro capabilities are unrivaled by any other Terran. And not hyped by casters? Are you for real? The only reason he isn't as much of a fan-favorite is because he didn't want to leave SK to participate in foreign tourneys until he won a GSL. And also because unfortunately the SC2 community is comprised of lots of fags who care more about looks than skill. Your English is fine, but in terms of content, you're just pulling shit from your ass.
Edit: And perhaps instead of 'blind hater' I should've said, 'blind Flash fanboy.'
I love Gumiho, and I like him more than Flash. I also like FXO. He's a good player on a good team.
That said, what the fuck is this?
Unrivaled multitask? Have you seen Bogus and Yoda lately? Fantasy?
Better than Flash in every facet of the game? Flash may very well have the best macro I've ever seen. That alone is a category in which he's superior to Gumiho (pretty important one too).
You're right he hasn't gotten enough exposure because of foreign tournaments, but there's also the fact that he doesn't have very many notable results either. Flash is widely considered the best BW player of all time, and one could argue he even has better results in sc2 than Gumiho post-HotS what with his MLG run and recent Asian Indoor preliminaries results in which he went further than Gumiho.
Gumiho isn't even the best team league player ever. DRG is. There's a guy who once almost single-handidly carried his team the entire season to win a championship. FXO could've still fallen back on Leenock and Tear, Gumiho just cleaned up in the finals.
Finally, I don't think he's even the best ESF terran. Yoda is.

I beg to differ.
You may beg to differ, but no many people do. Bomber is known as a beastly, likely the best, TvPer and has the wins/winrate to back it all up. Gumiho is not known for his TvP and doesn't have the winrate to back it up. Sure Bomber may have a day where he does his usual bomb out, but he is the better TvPer.

I can understand Flying wanting revenge against YoDa, but some of these other picks are just facepalm.

This Vid just gave me Chills! There are only a few moments i can think of that can face this one in awesomeness. I am so incredibly ready for this and I cannot wait for it to happen! I do have absolutely no idea who will go through. I only witnessed the end of the brood war era, but I think now I can understand the feeling, when you get to see the big guys, the legends, get to duke it out.
On another note: Is it just me or do a lot more koreans show up since hots got released and PL is also played SC2 only? Or is it more like 'hots is a new game, so it gets recognition, but it will soon fade away' -ish?

i'd guess its the bw legend effect, just like the boxer effect.

Cauz of the new studio, bigger and a better location
I wish the Group B people were instead spread out over the other 3 groups. I would prefer to see them fight each other in the later rounds rather in a dual-tournament-style group. Any one of them would make for a fantastic champion, let alone an extremely hyped finals. It's a shame that two of them will have to be knocked out this round.

Everything's epic about the group.
Yes and then you get to see worse players (than those who drop from this group) up to finals, playing Bo5. Just amazing, right?

That's not necessarily a bad thing. Some of the best finals we've ever had were played between good players who weren't the absolute best at the time. Remember Jjakji vs Leenock?

Id rather have best players spread out, and building up culmination with amazing semis and/or finals, than have a group of death, and then 3-0, 4-0(1) sweep until and in the finals. It is just speculation, but we had plenty of anti-climatic games already deep in GSL.

Sorry to budge in, but the only blind fanboy here is you. Who cares what gumiho showed in WoL? It was a different game and different times, meanwhile in HotS he came out first out of his group and is 1-1 in GSTL. What makes you honestly think that he is better than either innovation or Flash? If he is such an amazing (best?) terran, why has he won 0 individual events, and in his entire career his greatest individual achievement was a mighty single GSL semifinal? Surely his results would be at least slightly better if he was as great as you think he is. Dont get me wrong I like gumi as much as the next guy, but there is like no reason to consider him clearly better than flash and innovation. Thats a little silly.
It's nigh vomit-inducing how grossly overrated Flash and Innovation are right now. Flash knows like one BO and gets slammed by any cheese. Gumi's results put him far ahead of Inno.
Those that know me know that I rarely if ever swear. However, WHAT THE FUCK AT GROUP B!?
I dont even know who will make it out alive. I am thinking innovation and flash. Parting played insanely well in RO32, but he never played against Life, and we didnt get to see his PvT since Last didnt exactly play well.
Life is freaking amazing, but I dont think he can overcome the two best terrans in the world. Especially with the TvZ of Innovation.

hey hey hey, lets get one fact straight. flash isn't slumping sc2, sc2 is slumping flash.

What results are you referring to? This is HotS, not WoL. Flash has a second place finish at MLG. Gumiho's all-kill was in 2012. Im not saying Gumiho isn't ridiculously good. Innovation and Flash have shown what they can do many times since HotS has come out. Gumiho hasn't.
