I can't. I just can't understand Flash's macro. His supply is just consistently higher than it's supposed to be.

Zerg players would argue: If its broken, fix it :D hehe

Thing is, zerg has to play Wol Style against a Hots Terran. The new units do jackshit against bio. Buffing zerg isn't the option either i think. Is there any unit that should get a buff to cope with this?

some good games, flash might make the 1/4s
|
the problem is the units just keep coming. it isn't long before the cost effectiveness of mines increase the gap and terran just pulls away; that is, of course, if both players are playing at the top of their game. and i have to say, barring 1-2 baneling mistakes from soulkey, this was a good game to look at. you honestly just have to crush every production cycle, it feels like, and, with widow mines, i don't see how that's possible.

So... Flash is God.
Not much else to say, really. Makes me chuckle to think back to some people saying that if he switched from BW he wouldn't be as good. It's Flash.

His whole plan after being ahead in economy is to constantly trade because Terran can produce units while building economy and expand, Zerg cannot. If he can force a situation where Zerg has good economy but cannot increase it and has to constantly build units, Zerg will eventually fall behind.
If SoulKey could crush the initial (advantage-taking push) of Flash he could easily get into a situation that doesn't prevent Flash from expanding but allows him to do so. That would allow him to tech and hold his ground more easily. Obviously I'm well aware that ling/bane is a horror to play against bio mine, but mutalisks basically are dead-supply in the direct engagement (until before you hit a ton) because they usually would need to harass, which they cannot because Flash does pressure early.
In the fight they are basically dead supply and can only be used to clear mines, but in my mind you'd be better with 1500/1500 in ling/bane instead of mutas, as they will not shut down mediacs (due to boost) mostly anyways. My analysis of it. Do you think a WoL style +1+1 roach timing would work good? Then transition into muta-ling-bling, but keeping some roaches with it as well. When playing zerg I really like it because it denies the third for a long time and gives total map control.
I don't think that timing would be very effective, and IIRC it was never really in favor in this matchup in WoL among the Korean pros. Roaches are large, slow, have terrible DPS, and get completely owned by marauders -- ling/bling is the most efficient way to deal with bio, by far. If you're going to go roach and get a range upgrade, a better follow-up would probably be swarm hosts so that the roaches can act as their meat shield.
A few pros have messed around with roach/hydra vs. terran, but it's still really out of favor because bio-medivac is so much more cost efficient, and faster. If someone wins with that composition, it was probably because it was a follow-up to a hatch tech roach timing or lair nydus roach attack that did enough damage to make any follow-up a winner.

Lol, so funny how the chat goes bananas everytime this ZooZoo thing comes on ^_^

of course I have Taeja and Flash in FPL... :/ thanks for rocking GSL and not performing in PL

Soulkey and BB shouldn't have tried to outmacro Flash. Instead do some of what LIfe did at MLG, where u go for a big ling bling all in to punish the greedy 3 cc opening

I hope that when Flash has like a 90% win rate against Zerg, Blizzard realizes that sometimes, special players just happen to win that much and it actually has little to do with balance.

I believe it starts to fall off significantly once hive tech zerg with several vipers comes out with ultra support, but flash never gave soulkey a chance to even save up resources to make headway towards a comp that would let him outtrade MMMM
